This majestic 2 story home has 11 bedrooms available for you--It is a beachfront home located 1 mile East of Playa Encanto on a secluded beach--Playa Vista. You enter the home through a beautiful courtyard, with a garden patio and a private swimming pool, gas grill plenty of tables and seating. The upstairs loft has plenty of sleeping area with rollaway beds and futons. The TV room has satellite TV, plenty of DVDs and videos. This can also be used for extra sleeping area. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, commercial stove with 6 burners, a flat griddle and two ovens. There is huge amount counter space with a blender, toaster, microwave, coffee pots and many cooking utensils. This is a great kitchen for large groups. On the Oceanside there is a full length patio with plenty of lounge chairs, 2 palapas to sit under and watch the amazing sunsets.
AND we have swings too now, next to the fire pit.
Pickle ball, badminton and basketball hoop, shuffleboard game, seven kayaks all included and fireworks and quad riding are legal. The only rules are the use of common sense. This is a great house to get away and relax with friends and family.
New Jacuzzi has been added beachside by the Pickle ball court.
SUMMER OF 2021 4 Casitas are being added for a total of 15 bedrooms! Sleeping 56 people (additional charge per casita).
We have on beach managers for the first class concierge service. We also have Mr. Dave as your person chef which you can hire!!!

Generally very good. December house was hard to heat some bedrooms cold. Great place to stay.

Was very good. Private beach absolutely perfect. Great kitchen. Maid service very good. Would definitely recommend and will go again

Loved it but...

This place is so beautiful. The owners were so nice and they were really awesome people. There is not one complain about the house but the lady that does the booking for them is so rude. She would be the only reason I would not stay there again, I would not want to deal with her again in the future.

Thank you for the review Monique Cruz. Yes the Sandcastle is awesome and we try to take care of all our renters. However when your Mother left an expensive computer we wanted to do the right thing and get it back to her promptly. My husband drove her computer to the US and had it professionally packaged and shipped. If it was rude to have requested payment for this--I guess we live in different worlds. Awesome. Perfect. Incredible.

WOW!!! What a place. This was like renting our own private beach. I rented the Sandcastle for a four day business retreat for my company. August 4th thru the 7th. I was a little apprehensive when I saw the size of the place, that it would be air conditioned and comfortable this time of the year. It was delightful and got so cool inside that we actually turned some of the central air up at night because it got a little chilly. The house was well equipped with 2 refridgerators and a large commerical stove. Even satellite TV, Internet and free US phone service. I was impressed as to how clean and detailed the owners keep this place. The only thing we were told to bring were our towels. The beach was fantastic! All sand and private. The owners were next door and very helpful with everything we needed as well as informing us of some of the better places to go to in town. Everything was GREAT and I am planning our next return trip. I want to take everyone I know so they can experience everything I did.

Stay

We stayed at the sandcastle with my family and had a wonderful time. So many nice things about this property . Plenty of room there were 50 of us. Ages from 7 to 66 plus teenagers, my grand kids loved being there. We will definitely be back next year and maybe even this fall. The owners were there to help if we needed anything, just glad I found this place We stayed thru aug 2nd. Cannot wait to go back.

Awesome, private and remote location.....PERFECT for large groups!

We stayed for 4 nights & truly enjoyed our time at the "Castle"! There were 8 different families and 29 total people in our group and we never felt like we were overcrowded or on top of each other in the house. Upon our arrival, the property owner Dave, who is on-site next door was GREAT to us & very helpful with any questions we had. While he was there if we needed him, he kept to himself if we didn't & let us enjoy our evenings even if we were a bit loud, etc. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of extra roll-out beds if you needed them for kids, etc. The kitchen was well equipped and even though it said to bring spices, foil, etc, we found there to be that sort of stuff down there, possibly left over from past guests. There were plenty of plates, cooking utensils, etc....suggest bringing paper plates & plastic drink cups along for sure. The flat top griddle is awesome for cooking breakfast items on & the gas range & cooktop was nice. The main room TV had direcTV which was nice. The rooms only have DVD players, but that was not a big deal, as we didn't spend much time in the rooms. We rented the 3 outside suites, which are perfect for small families or those wishing for a little extra privacy & quiet at night. The pool & spa in the front courtyard were nice and clean & enjoyed by all. The back patio was the most popular hang out spot, being in the shade all day long. Having the option for both propane grill and traditional wood charcoal cooking was nice. Dave provided the charcoal, which was nice. Ice goes fast in the climate, especially if you plan to leave coolers outside. We left a couple inside the house in the hallway in the cooler space and that seemed to help out. We opted for the daily maid service, which was nice & recommended. They came in around 10 a.m. and at least picked up the trash inside & out, cleaned up the kitchen and bathrooms, swept the sand off the floors, etc. We also hired "Gamma" through Carol and he came out on our last night and prepared an AWESOME meal for us on the grill of carne asada, shrimp & tacos al pastor (pork). We paid him a very reasonable rate to cook for 30 & it was WELL WORTH IT...incredible tacos, rice & beans! Beach was perfect, shallow for the kids & NO rocks. We had a fire one night in the beachtop firepit, but DO bring your own wood. Brought our Polaris Rangers & had alot of fun riding up & down the beach on them. We loved the Sand Castle!!

We recently rented the Sand Castle for our wedding and we couldn't put into words how fantastic it was. It provided beautiful pictures for our wedding and had enough room for all of our guests. The fact that it provided so many wonderful toys for us to play with on the beach was fantastic! The pool and hot tub were a great addition as well as the shuffle board. It provided something for everyone! The owners are right next door and are the nicest people ever. Thank you for such a wonderful time! We truly enjoyed it!
