The Sunny Bungalow is located at mile 17.5 of the Placencia Peninsula in the Community of Surfside. A bright, modern and clean home awaits you! Enjoy stunning sunrises from the beach, swimming in the pool or ocean, kayaking in the ocean or simply relaxing under the palms.
This 2 bedroom upstairs Bungalow comes fully equipped with all modern amenities, including a full refrigerator with ice and water, a gas oven and stovetop, and a microwave. All essential small appliances, dishes and accessories are included and the kitchen is very spacious for preparing your favorite meals. Grocery stores are located a short distance away by car or golf cart. You have your own private entrance to this unit as well.
The bungalow has 2 bedrooms (one king and one queen) and 1 bathroom. It is perfect for small families or 2 couples. There is a very large covered porch for dining, playing cards, lounging or simply enjoying the peaceful beach breeze and ocean waves. The pool is located in a perfect balance of sun and shade with places to lounge deck side, or there is a large bench in the pool for relaxing. Please make use of the kayak we have as well, although note it must be locked up at night, any loss will be billed back to the guest.
All bedrooms offer ceiling fans and air conditioning and large wardrobes. The master bedroom has a beautiful beach view. The main area kitchen/living also offers a ceiling fan and air conditioning. All linens and beach towels are included as well as starter toiletries.
The Bungalow is located 10 minutes north of Placencia Village via car (about 15-20 min via golf cart) and 10 minutes south of the popular Maya Beach area via car (about 15 min via golf cart). Both the village and Maya Beach are home to many restaurants, bars, shopping, coffee shops and other activities. The bungalow is a quarter mile south of Sirenian Bay Resort, where you can easily pop over for dinner, drinks, gelato, mini golf, pickle ball, tennis, a gym or daily golf cart rental.
Other things to note
Placencia is located a 2.5-3.5 hour drive from The International Airport, depending on which route you take. You can rent a car, use a shuttle or take a short 30 min flight directly into the Placencia Airstrip. We are happy to help you arrange your transfer, just inquire at booking. We can also help with booking a golf cart or weekly bike rentals. Whatever you need, Sunny Bungalow has it!
