We enjoyed our stay at this cabin in the upper canyon area of Ruidoso. It’s a perfect small cabin for a great getaway from daily life. We loved the outdoor covered patio. It has a hot tub but we did not use it. It had an issue when we first got there but we let the host know and someone came out to drain it and get it back up running. Contact with the host was great and he even texted us just to see how our stay was going. It had a beautiful Mountain View and a hummingbird feeder on the patio so we got to see lots of them eat. This cabin is very quaint and has a comfortable mountain feel to it. If you don’t care for stairs, beware that there are many stairs to climb to get to the front door to enter. It’s not a problem except when unloading and loading from your car. The host was probably the best we have ever encountered. He always was available to answer all our questions. We brought our furry babies and they also enjoyed the outdoor environment. Ruidoso is a great place to relax and unwind. Hope to get back there again soon.

Comfy and cozy cabin. We were so relaxed the whole time. Really enjoyed the porch and hot tub. We saw elk, deer, humming birds all from the porch. Beds are older and pillows aren't the softest so I recommend bringing your own. Otherwise a great family cabin for the price.

Nice, clean, quaint cabin on the mountain. We slept well and had a lot of fun. Plenty of wildlife to view while there. Hot tub worked well and was nice. I would definitely recommend this cabin and host for a rental in Ruidoso!

There is mold around the shower frame.Shower walls were clean but the tub had a slight bathtub ring.No tub mat to prevent slipping. Bathroom sink does not drain properly.Dried Dog urine on the floor when we walked in. Had not been cleaned. Window sill behind the sofa has bugs and bug droppings. Ceilin in living area has so much dust accumulated over the ceiling fan it blows when the fan is on. The Kurig coffee make was not cleaned properly. Hot tub walls felt slimmy. We would not use it. The entry stair case is not safe for older adults. The hand rail is built in a manner that does not give you anything to grip. The walkway to lower sitting area could/should be modified to allow easier access without tripping of sliding on a muddy slopeThe beds are very old and uncomfortable The cabin itself is sufficient at best. It is older and appears to have had some remodeling done. Very unprofessional paint job.

Our family stayed at the cabin for three days. The area was quiet, and many neighbors have bird feeders which draw in amazing birds in the morning. Our family enjoyed sitting on the hammock and saw so much wildlife from the backyard. Ravens, Stellar's Jays, foxes, elk, and even the horses! The unit is as shown in the photos. Kitchen had everything we needed, it was so close to all of our hiking spots and restaurants. Really couldn't ask for more. We would stay here again.

I had a very quiet, relaxing stay at Fawntastic cabin. There was a great view from the deck which included rockers, a glider and a spotless hot tob. This is a very comfortable cabin at a great price in a location that’s convenient to town.

Relaxing getaway

Headed up to Ruidoso for a quick getaway in the mountains, and this was the perfect little cabin for us! The hot tub, fireplace and all amenities worked great and the view was serene. Would definitely book again in the future.

Spring Break retreat

This cabin was perfect for our New Mexico getaway! The location was great, the grocery store Lowes was wonderful and 5 minutes away. Everything is close by. The hot tub was great, and I loved the cast iron stove. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Fabulous getaway

A great place to get away from the heat. A wonderful home base for exploring the Ruidoso area and just chilling in the hot tub at the end of the day. Very responsive hosts, dedicated to making it a great stay.
