Sturgis 83rd Anniversary

Stayed here during the rally with friends. The house was high up a mountain in Spearfish. We saw deer everyday. The house was very cozy and accommodated 6 of us very easily. Really appreciated the large 4 car garage for our motorcycles and side slab for our large trailer. The check in was easy and owner was very easy to work with.

Wonderful Family Getaway

We were in Spearfish for a family wedding, and this property was the absolutely perfect fit for us. Great gathering spaces for people to visit, as well as plenty of room to find some serenity. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, and we enjoyed sitting around the large table. Plenty of wildlife with deer and turkeys moving through every day. It was a beautiful area that I imagine would be absolutely gorgeous when the fall colors are on full display or when there is a blanket of new snow on the ground. We hope to come back to this property for another stay soon.

When we was ready to check in we had a hard time getting with the owner to make arrangements to get into the house. She did apologize that this normally doesn't happen.

Garages save cars for Camaro Rally

We were excited about having a four car garage as we came out for the Camaro Rally and wanted space for the cars. But the house was beautiful and the beds great. Had an issue with a double booking but the property owner contacted me right away to work out the issue. Also worked with the property owner on arrival, after a large rain and hail storm did some minor damage to the property. Owner was great to work with! I would stay again at this property and recommend it to others.

Location better than advertised.

The aerial view from Google suggests a less pristine setting. It's better than advertised. Of course this is a home. Three different fire/CO monitor batteries chose to demand attention as did the hot tub filter system. But in a real sense that reminds you that this is a home, just like your own home. However... the box of spare 9 volt batteries is not empty.
