It’s a well decorated space, lots of natural light. The building felt safe, and you can’t beat the proximity to the beach! It’s ideal for 1-3 people. The kitchen is small but definitely has everything you need. My husband, my daughter, and I definitely enjoyed our stay!

Great Location

This property is super close to the beach. Two stair flights up so be mindful what you pack! We loved the location and the property served our needs. Sorry to say the deck was really dirty-uninviting-we did not even step foot on it and would have liked to spend some evening time there.

A great stay

We struggled with the stairs up to the 3rd floor as we are older….but the condo was great…a nice size …and very close to the beachWe were also disappointed with the lack of restaurants available in the area….but overall a relaxing stay..

This property served its purpose well. To be able to walk to the beach in a couple of minutes was fantastic. There’s also a market/Café that we could walk to and we did. I’d list clearly that there are only stairs to each level. Some folks may find that difficult.

Great spot for a quick getaway

Rental process was very easy and great communication. While this particular unit isn’t fancy by any means, it was a perfect find for my teenage son and I to take a quick adventure. Easy beach access and great location for enjoying the bike trails and shopping.

New Year's Trip

My wife and I enjoyed the stay for our New Year's Trip. This villa was an excellent place for a couple. It has a little bit of a dated look, but everything inside was good and we were very comfortable. Also, we had to communicate with the property manager for a small issue and they were prompt in their response. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Beautiful villa steps from the beach

The villa is very pleasantly appointed. Everything was clean and well cared for. If this were my villa this is how I would have decorated it. Veranda is a very nice spot to read or spend time in conversation. I believe that anyone would be very pleased to stay here.

Overall, this was a great property. We enjoyed our stay. Condo was attractive and comfortably decorated. Very good location for access to the beach.We had a couple minor observations. Coffee maker still had coffee, filter and grinds from last guest when we arrived. Remotes for the ceiling fans/lights didn't work. Batteries we're most likely depleted.

Great place to Stay on Kiawah Island

Nicely decorated condo close to beach! This was our 7th stay on Kiawah Island and our favorite place to stay to date. Very spacious and comfortable one bedroom. Nice bathroom setup convenient for two people. Has regular coffee pot and Keurig. Nice deck . Only compliant would be needs more coffee mugs, regular spoons and cookie sheet. Otherwise fabulous and we will be back!!!

Great relaxing spot

Windswept is a great relaxing spot. We wanted a low key weekend where we could walk on the beach. Kiawah is quaint and beautifulz the condo is an excellent location just a few steps from the beach. Theres a small village near by with coffee and groceries. Would absolutely dtay at again. Our only issues were a few minor damages (trim on fridge for example) but didnt prevent us from enjoying the place. Also read what the place has on hand to make sure you have what you need, we did not pick up salt or pepper but it explicitly says they do not provide it. That was our fault.

Overall a nice unit but dated and needs some small maintenance. The pictures of outside are deceiving as we thought we were in the oceanfront building. Turns out we were not.

NO TOLIET PAPER

There was less than half a roll of toilet paper when we arrived. We drove 8 hours and arrived late, had we known we needed to provide our own, we would have brought some with us.

The condo was comfortable and nicely furnished for the most part. The kitchenware should be upgraded--only 3 cups; saucepan with loose handle, etc. Not sure if the dishwasher ever did start altho we tried several times before we left this morning. I would suggest adding instructions for TV use (we don't stream) and also for returning the key fob to its 'box.'

Nice location

Overall, this is a good property. Short walk to the beach. Convenient location on the island to fit our needs (i.e.: shopping, dining out, fishing, boating, beaching). Easy drive to Charleston as well. Aside from the couple below us having a full blown fight, waking us up at 1am from intense screaming, while smashing/slamming things in their condo, in turn, us needing to call the police because of their violence, it was a peaceful place to stay. Our condo was decorated beautifully, but there are a few updates that should be taken into consideration. 1. Highly recommend having the 2 area rugs professionally cleaned, or replace them altogether. They’re pretty stained, and look ragged. 2. The sleeping pillows on the bed were not ideal, so a refresh/pillow replacement would make the bed perfect. 3. The pots, pans, and kitchenware are on their last leg. Time to retire those items. Other than that, this condo was well structured, with great appliances, good AC unit, properly working TV’s & internet, with minimal cockroaches (had to kill a large one).
