Welcome to our slice of heaven located near Kahana Beach, a calm sandy beach great for swimming and relaxing. Our family friendly condo is modest and affordably priced so guests can experience the beauty of the island.

Kahana Villa is located between the resort areas of Kaanapali and Kapalua. You are within a 10 minute drive of major hotels, fine restaurants, and championship golf courses. Walk a few short steps out the door and across a small frontage road to a quiet sandy beach perfect for the whole family. Enjoy over 1400 square feet of living space with 2 BR and 2 BA along with the great Maui sunsets on your private lanai! Our kitchen includes all dishes, cookware, and utensils. There is also an apartment sized stackable washer and dryer unit in the kitchen. You will wake up to a view of the ocean and the island of Lanai from the queen size bed in the lofted Master Bedroom with a private bath. The second bedroom with a queen bed gives you a view of the West Maui mountains with an additional hall bathroom adjacent. (You can sleep up to 6 guests in the unit. At this time, we do not have a sleeper sofa, but we have at least 1 air mattress). There is no air conditioning unit, but Maui's cool trade winds blow from the back to the front of the unit through the open windows. Pool, Spa and Tennis/Pickle Ball Court are just steps from your front door and free to use. Also, from November to mid May, spot whales from the lanai!

We loved the place. Beach toys and chairs - plenty of towels too. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare many meals during our stay. Comfortable beds and living room too. Great ocean view from the lanai. Would not hesitate to come here again.

Relaxing Vacation

We were a family of 5 and stayed in this property for 5 days on our first trip to Maui. Location was great, beach easily accessible across the road. Quick drive to Kaanapali beaches, old town Lahaina or beaches to the North. The condo was well stocked with kitchen utensils, pantry items and beach gear. Would definitely stay here in the future.

Beautiful View

Our family visits Maui every other year. This year it was a family vacation of 22. We rented this condo with our 9.5 month old. To say the least it was a perfect sized condo and had more than enough amenities to makes us feel at home. We were close to everything it was great and our view was gorgeous. Definitely staying here again.

Great Place to Stay

My mom and I enjoyed our stay here. The unit was as advertised; owner was very helpful and communicative. We had originally scheduled a winter trip but due to very nasty weather, we wanted to change to springtime and owner most graciously accommodated us. We really appreciated that. Location was great. The view from the lanai and master bedroom were amazing. We would definitely stay again if we ever get back to Maui. Thanks Kristal.

Excellent beach location

The property was exactly as described. They even have beach items for use. We also left some toys for the next person. Ver clean and easily accessible to the beach. Beautiful and spacious condo while visiting Maui

The unit was so well equipped with kitchen essentials while staying in to enjoy a meal, as well as beach chairs, umbrellas, cooler, snorkel gear, etc for all your outdoor activities and adventures throughout the day. We also extremely enjoyed the large patio while eating breakfast and/or dinner and spotting whales in the distance with the wonderful view. The Kahana Villa's hot tub and pool was very clean and we had a great time socialing with others who were staying in the complex as well. The proximity to some neighborhood stores and restaurants were a plus as well - just a short walk away! We will definetely recommend Kahana Villa and this unit to family and friends, as well as stay here again during our next visit to Maui! Thank you!

Cozy Condo with all the Essentials

My family felt right at home when we arrived. We definitely would love to try to rent this place again if we ever get the chance to come back to Maui. The condo is so close to the beach and has a beautiful view of the ocean. Very close to stores and restaurants. It had everything we needed such as towels, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry soap, snorkel gear, body boards, etc. This condo was such a gem. We had no problem finding the location and entering without having to contact anyone. It was such an easy transition from the airport making ourselves at home with all the instructions given. Great spot across from the beach

We had a wonderful stay in this condo. The beach across the street was perfect for our kids. Barely any waves. There was a closet full of beach accessories which was awesome. The kitchen was nicely redone, but the rest has not been updated. If you plan on being up with the sun, this is the place for you, which worked great for us. The area is not fancy, but it was very chill and relaxed. Maui Brewing Company and Miso Phat Sushi are right next to it. Being on the 4th floor gave a beautiful view of the ocean, but if you are not good with stairs, this isn't the best choice. There are elevators, but the bathrooms in the condo are both upstairs. Everyone is the complex was very kind.

Good Stay - As Advertised

My family and I spent a week at this condo and it worked really well for us. It was very spacious and clean, and the location was great for the activities that we'd planned. It was super convenient for traveling over to Lahaina where there are lots of great spots to eat and do some souvenir shopping. There was a beach nearby that was fairly easy to access (it only required a walk through the parking lot and across a small 2-lane road) and many of the folks from this condominium complex seemed to be taking advantage of that. That stretch of beach often seemed a bit crowded, though, so we never actually visited it. The downstairs portion of the condo was super nice. It was very spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. Everything seemed really new, and you could get an excellent breeze with the windows open. The upstairs was pretty nice, too, though the bathroom tile was a little dated. The airflow wasn't as good up there either, but the owner had ceiling fans and floors fans all over the place, so it was fine. The upstairs portion was generally okay - - just not quite as nice as the downstairs. In fairness to the upstairs portion, it's designed like a really big loft and the master bedroom has some large windows where you can overlook the Pacific and have a really clear view of Lanai in the distance (it was a really sweet view). Overall, we were very happy with this condo and would definitely stay here again.

Great finish to our stay

We stayed two night here after two nights at a nearby resort villas and this resort property did not disappoint. Location wise this was perfect between Kapalua Bay where we loved snorkeling and Lahaina where our favorite eateries were. Check in was smooth and quick and this resort offered great amenities. The unit seemed clean at first but you could definitely tell that they have a low standard of what clean is. We found food crumbs and potato chips under some of the furnitures that could fill a bag. We didn’t walk around barefooted as it has been our custom because of how dirty our feet got. Washer and dryer in unit would have been great if the dryer did its job drying but we stayed up very late into the night having to restart the machine repeatedly. KBM could not be reached all day by phone on Saturday so we decided to not use it on our second night. The open balcony with nana wall was great and we still got a great partial view of the ocean like in the picture. What also could have made our experience better was if there was some basic condiments like sugar and cream for the nice bag of coffee they had in the unit. Beds were comfortable and sheets were clean. The furnitures are a bit old and outdated and could use some improvements. Overall, the location and the amenities made this property a good to return to.

Amazing condo

This west Maui condo was perfect for our family of four. The layout was great, with both bedrooms on the 2nd floor, and the living space and kitchen on the 1st floor. The kitchen is well-equipped, and there are two tables for dining, one indoors and one outdoors on the incredible lanai (if you plan on cooking some meals in, we'd recommend getting a Safeway frequent shopper card and shopping the sales, or stocking up at Costco near the airport before you arrive - much less expensive than the other grocery options). Having a washer and dryer inside the condo for our use was a godsend as well. There is not air conditioning, but by opening the shutters on the windows that face away from the ocean and the patio doors that open up to the lanai, the trade winds create a perpetual breeze that makes the entire condo a very pleasant temperature, even when we visited in August. The beds are very comfortable, and having two full bathrooms was great for our family. We also enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub in the condo complex for the few times when we were too tired to get all sandy at the beach, but still wanted to take a quick dip or let the kids play in the water to burn off some energy. As an added bonus, there are two beautiful Weber gas grills available for use in the pool area as well, and we grilled dinner on them several times. We have zero complaints about this property. If we are ever able to return to Maui, this will definitely be the first place we try to stay. The location is about a 10-15 minute drive from Black Rock Beach to the south (great boogie boarding, snorkeling, and cliff jumping) or Kapalua Bay or Napili Bay beaches to the north. It was about a 50 minute drive to the airport in Kahului.

Great condo getaway in Maui

If you are looking for a nice condo to stay while in the NW part of Maui we would recommend this unit. The owner was great to work with and very responsive to emails/questions. We were able to have coffee/breakfast out on the balcony that looked out on part of the ocean watching surfers, boats, and occasionally whales! This condo is well appointed and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfortable, location is very good for what we wanted to do in the area, and the beach/snorkeling supplies where a fantastic bonus. There were chairs, umbrella, beach mats, games, and of course several masks/snorkels. This was outstanding. As with any unit there are some drawbacks. This condo butts up to a neighborhood that can be loud at times. For the most part it was quiet during the morning, evening, and night, but they don't have to observe the condo quiet hours. There was a large dog that barked in the morning, so that was disturbing at times. We were there over the new year and they set off fireworks from the time it got dark until the finale at midnight. Wow it was loud, but that shouldn’t be an issue unless you stay during times with fireworks! The unit faces SW and during the winter time the sun would shine in most of the afternoon and crank up the heat. The unit would benefit from better curtains/shading during this time. It would obviously be even more beneficial if there were mini-split AC units as the condo got pretty warm for the evening. We had to leave the front door open most of the time we were there to get a nice breeze through the bottom floor. The upstairs where the beds and bath are was pretty warm even though we were there in late December. Overall, we would stay here again. It is still a very good value for Maui.

Comfortable home away from home

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. Great location and a clean and quiet complex. The condo was well equipped with everything you needed and more. It was clean on our arrival and the beds were very comfortable. Loved spending time on the lanai and the loft bedroom was pretty special.

Why they chose this property

We looked at over 30 condo developments and chose Kahana Villa because of the size of the unit. When we bought it in 1987, we were hoping that someday we would be bringing our grandchildren to Maui. We bought at Kahana Villa because we have a beautiful view of the ocean and the condo never feels crowded.

What makes this property unique

Close to all the major resorts, but in a much quieter location. We are between Kaanapali and Kapalua. Never are we at our pool with 200 people with the lounge chairs linked together. At times you feel as though this is your personal resort for you and a few friends.
