The Princess and the Sea is a beautiful oceanfront home with 6 bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, that sleep 19 in beds. This home boasts stunning panoramic beachfront views and on a clear day you can see all the way to Galveston from the sprawling balcony. Plenty of room for the whole multi-generational family or your group of friends. Family friendly neighborhood without much traffic on Crenshaw Beach, one of the best beaches in the area with wide, sandy beach area. Note there is no direct walkover - must go to nearest public beach access to access the beach, a 1 minute drive or 5-minute walk

*There is currently a house under construction next door. We haven't had any noise complaints, but it is possible there will be construction noise during the day until construction is complete*

Our stay here was absolutely perfect and beautiful. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond. The house was clean, stocked, and gorgeous. Beach is walking distance, the neighborhood is tranquil and we would not hesitate to book here again.

This property was exactly what we needed for our summer camp planning retreat! The house was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The beach was perfect for filming our pirate shots! The town had everything we needed from meals and runs to the store to pick stuff up, we lacked nothing. I highly recommend this home ! We had a great time!

We had a great unobstructed view of the water and a beautiful patio to sit on and enjoy.The hostess Melinda was very easy to work with and answered all of our questions in a timely manner.Looking forward to be able to spend some time there again

The Host was very responsive and easy to communicate with, and we appreciated her efforts to address our concerns during our stay. Unfortunately, there were several issues that affected our overall experience. The cleanliness of the home and some of the equipment could have been much better, and several times appeared to be older and in need of maintenance or a more thorough cleaning. The location was convenient, and the renting a golf cart as many others recommended, definitely made getting around more enjoyable. The beach closest to the house also had quite a bit of seaweed and trash during our visit, which was disappointing. Overall, while we appreciated the host's kindness and responsiveness, we would likely choose a different place if we return to Galveston.

I sincerely apologize that the cleanliness and condition of some items fell short of your expectations. We take guest feedback seriously and use it to improve. We’ve already addressed several of the points you raised and continue to review and update maintenance and cleaning standards between stays. Regarding the beach, seaweed and occasional debris are a natural occurrence along the shoreline that is outside any individual property’s control. It’s usually not particularly heavy but occasionally we do get a surge of it as do most beaches on the Gulf Coast. We understand it can be disappointing when conditions aren’t ideal, and we always hope guests are able to enjoy the beautiful stretches of beach in the area. Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you all the best on your future travels.

The house was absolutely perfect! It had everything we needed and more. I especially loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. The view was stunning. The Princess and the Sea is an absolutely spectacular beach house! Our entire group genuinely loved every second of our week long stay! We thoroughly enjoyed and utilized all 3 amazing beachfront decks, all 6 spacious bedrooms, the extra long dining table, the separate game table, the ground floor swinging chairs, the well stocked kitchen & laundry room, and the super comfortable living space! Standouts for this house were the hammock, the music system, the bunk room for all ages, extra frig space and the 2 ridiculously comfy recliners that we wanted to bring home with us! The house is perfectly located far enough away from the beach to enjoy every bit of the beauty without hearing the occasional beach traffic. This beautiful home at the beach truly helped make our stay extra enjoyable! A huge thank you to our host Melinda for all of her help and going the extra mile to make sure we had everything we needed on our amazing vacation!
