Welcome to the Painted Bunting cabin! We're so glad you're here. This unit is handicapped-friendly. You'll love the hand-crafted porch railing and other unique touches to this property. We hope you enjoy your stay! King-size bed, step-in shower, microwave, and refrigerator. Ground-level access for folks who prefer ease of entry and exit.
The Space:
The Painted Bunting Cabin
With their vivid fusion of blue, green, yellow, and red, male Painted Buntings seem to have flown straight out of a child’s coloring book. Females and immatures are a distinctive bright green with a pale eye ring. The French name of the Painted Bunting, nonpareil, means “without equal,” a reference to the bird’s dazzling plumage.
This is a handicapped-friendly cabin. It offer ground-level access for folks who prefer ease of entry and exit, without stairs.
Individual Wi-Fi connections in each home and wall-mounted monitor for easy connection to laptops and tablets. King-size bed, step-in shower, microwave, and refrigerator. Three of our tiny homes are disabled accessible with no steps or stairs, wide doorways, step-in showers, and limited under-counter cabinets.
Guest Access:
Guests will access the door with a four-digit code, usually the last four digits of your phone number.

Majestic oak trees provide a restful, sun dappled environment for your stay. Our rural location is peacefully removed from adjacent commercial clutter and noise, yet is only minutes from interstate access and shopping.

The painted bunting is arguably the most beautifully colored bird in Texas. The fascinating mix of hues makes it visually unique.
The Painting Bunting cabin is somewhat unique at Waco Creekside. It features a handcrafted porch railing and offers ground-level entry with no steps or stairs. Additional features include wide doorways, a step-in shower, an extra high toilet, and limited under-counter cabinets. The HVAC unit is wall mounted, allowing complete operation from a convenient, low height.
If you need a cabin that is disabled accessible, this one is for you. It accommodates two guests with its comfy king-size bed. The spaciousness of the combined living and sleeping quarters allows for easy mobility around the room. The chefs among you will appreciate the kitchen area supplied with utensils, cookware, hot plate, microwave, refrigerator, and Keurig beverage maker.
Need Internet access? Individual Wi-Fi is provided in the cabin. Have a Roku subscription? Stream your favorite content on the TV. A complete list of amenities is below.
There is a fishing pond in the center of the property that is stocked with largemouth bass and sunfish. It is catch and release only right now. We also have a double pickle ball court on site.
Conveniently located to local area attractions, the cabin is only 15 minutes from Homestead Heritage Craft Village, Magnolia Silos, and Baylor University, to name a few.
