My wife wanted something different to stay at when visiting Magnolias, and this property fit the bill perfectly. It was an easy walk to and from everything we wanted to do. It was very clean, stayed very cool inside, and the available coffee and water was a welcome surprise. Thank you!
Beautiful place, super convenient location & walkability to all the major shops, restaurants & cafes in the area. The coffee, water and snacks were very appreciated but as a severe asthmatic who’s allergic to dust, I wish it was slightly cleaner (there was a layer of dust built up on fans in bedrooms) . The shower pressure is WEAK & there’s a train nearby which you can hear at night so if you’re a light sleeper- be prepared. Overall, a cute place to stay for a weekend.

Why charge for acleaning fee
My family and I stay in VRBO's anywhere from 4 to 6 times a year, and I feel like I'm on the more lenient side when it comes to reviews. I can Overlook loose door handles loose faucets, but when you are charging a hefty cleaning fee and you show up and the place is filthy! I'm not talking about last week's filth I'm talking about months of Filth. The whole place needs a handyman as well. Will not be staying again
Great place. As advertised. Clean, hip, close to restaurants and silos.
A few things to know:
Loft AC unit has a powerful light right over the bed. Really bright when you’re trying to sleep - would be great if owner would put white electrical tape over the light. The light bothered us, so we threw a shirt over it which covered the light but triggered auto-shut off of the AC at some point during the night, so we were pretty warm, even though it was cold outside when we stayed.
Also- strong smells - house has some kind of diffuser going when you walk in. Smelled good. Detergent (sheets) had a really strong lavender-ish scent. Not my favorite.
On the whole this house is fun, well appointed, and clean. Thanks for a great stay!
Loved staying close to downtown Waco where we could walk to lots of places to eat and close enough to drive over to the stadium so we could come and go for rest breaks during band competition
Great weekend doing all things Magnolia - Castle Tour, the Silos and dinner at Hotel 1928. Visited Homestead Heritage and the Mammoth Museum. Great weekend and perfect accommodations for 2 people.
My daughters and I took a short spring break trip to Waco to see Magnolia and this tiny house was the perfect respite for us. Close enough to walk to the action but quiet and away from the crowds. Property was very clean and well kept. Directions from the host were accurate and on point. Thank you for a lovely stay!
We loved staying at this little place. Perfect for our family of four. We enjoyed the place and the whole downtown area. Everything was so clean and well put together.
