"Get Away" Cabin at the Lake - Outdoor Campfire

Our Cabin is located in the heart of the Ozark Mountains and is only 10 mi to Branson, Missouri. Adventure awaits in the historic fishing village of Rockaway Beach, which is located on the shores of Lake Taneycomo, a part of the famous White River Basin. Anglers come here from far and wide for a Trout fishing experience that is second to none. Rent a boat at the nearby Marina (2 blocks away) and travel a few minutes upstream to Branson Landing for a unique dining and shopping experience.
The space
From the moment you walk in you feel as if you are at a special retreat at the lake. The cabin has a rustic theme and the outdoor space comes to life at night with the campfire and string lights. The deck, BBQ and fire pit area is a shared space.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire place including the outside campfire pit and BBQ areas.

-Cabin is about 2 blocks away from the water's edge.

Cozy little cabin!

The pictures does no justice of how it actually looks, it’s more cozier and great atmosphere in person. It was just enough for a weekend for me & my son. Communication was great with the host.

Cozy Cabin Getaway

This is a perfect getaway, especially for those who love the outdoors. We loved having the shared firepit sitting area and used it every morning drinking our coffee in front of a crackling fire on the cool October mornings. We also used it some in the evenings when we grilled steaks and then made s'mores. The cabin remodel is really cute and cozy inside. It's not a full kitchen, but the sink, microwave and refrigerator were what we needed. Would definitely come here again. The host was quick to respond. Very clean inside.

Leaky Shower

Neighborhood questionable. Cabin was nice except shower head leaked so much that it sprayed the ceiling and would hit the floor and get the bathroom floor wet. Freezer in icebox didn't freeze ice trays.

The lake and public fishing peninsula with the boat launch is easy access being only 2 blocks away. There's also the nearby Pizza Cellar and White River Coffee Company for dining options.

Cross Timbers Cabins stands out from the rest due to it's small and charming cabins located so close to Lake Taneycomo. I especially enjoy the atmosphere at night when you hear the crickets chirping and the feel the warmth of the outdoor fire pit. It's the place where memories are made and great times are found.
