8/10 Good

Place was ok, nice and cozy for a few nights and close to a lot of local things to do.
I enjoyed my stay, after I got rid of the smell. The unit smelled like the door had not been open in 6 months. It was hard to sleep because of it. The unit itself was really ok. No cable TV, but there was a fire stick, so unless you subscribe to a good program like Amazon or Netflix, there will be not updated movies. There are a few free apps, this was ok with us. Internet was good, no problems at all with it. Needs new bed sheets, ones on bed real thin. I had my own. Everything worked in kitchen. My husband and grand daughter loved it, again after I got it aired out and sprayed some febreze.

Clean but damp & musty.
The cabin was clean but there was an overpowering musty smell and had difficulty getting the towels to dry, etc. The cabin space was as described, and the appliances were modern/clean/etc. The HVAC units (multizone mini-split) were a bit finikey... likely due to the time of year where we needed A/C during the day, but light heat at night. The area is nice and quiet. If it wasn't for the moisture problem we'd likely use this property again.

Cute and cozy
Great home for 4-5 guests. Loved the firepit area although you should bring cushions for the benches. Watching the trees and stars was wonderful. I would rent this place again.

Very snug and comfortable cabin. Could sleep 7 very tightly...4 people is more reasonable. Kitchen has basic cooking and serving equipment. Plan to bring wood and cushions for the fire pit area. And grills for the fire if you plan to cook on it as there is no other grill. We loved the peace and quiet and enjoyed the trees and the stars. Would rent this again.

Annual fishing trip
Really enjoyed our stay here! The place is nothing fancy,(but has everything you need) and is close to everything! Also met very nice gentleman who takes care of the property, who has lived in the area his whole life, very informative. Suggestions: maybe some more info on what’s in the area, grocery stores, Walmart, trash drop offs, and where to purchase firewood (as they will deliver) etc. spray for bugs more often, as the place is surrounded by woods. Also you must separate and recycle your trash before dropping off (as they were pretty anal about it).Overall I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely come back! Thank you! Dale
