Perfect place for three families with 6 elementary-middle school-aged kids to connect and make classic summer memories. Kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with everything you need and more. Arcade games, mini sport court, and safe dock and beach gave kiddos hours of fun and adults plenty of time to relax and enjoy the beautiful porch, sauna, and hot tub. Lake is clean, clear and peaceful. Overall amazing stay.

Extremely well stocked, great location, manager kept in contact. Only down side was hot tub cover, extremely deteriorated and extremely heavy, took three people to get on and off.

Scott- thank you for the 10/10 review!!! We’re glad you enjoyed your stay and had everything you needed. We apologize again for the challenges with the hot tub cover. Best in Brainerd

We had the best time up north ever at The Gladstone. The hot tub, sauna, and game table (air hockey!) all were perfect additions to days on the lake. We even took advantage of the telescope to show the kids the moon. Could not recommend the space more highly.

Jeff- We’re glad you enjoyed your stay at The Gladstone Lake House! Our cleaning team is THE BEST!!! We know Mother Nature didn’t cooperate with snow for snowmobiling and other outdoor winter activities, but hopefully you and your guests were able to enjoy the hot tub, sauna, arcade games, foosball, mini sport court, and game table! We hope to welcome you back for another stay in the future. Cheers! Scott & Karen

Anniversary celebration

Gladstone House was a wonderful place for our family to bond. Our adult kids and our grandkids loved all the options. There was much time spent in the water and on the pontoon, in the hot tub and the sauna, and around the campfire. We loved spending time in the screened in porch.

Amazing Family Vacation Spot

We rented this house for a week with extended family (5 adults + 3 kids) and it was perfect! We played in the water every day - the lake was great and very comfortable to swim in. The kids had a blast learning to kayak, paddleboard, and fish. We had plenty of room to spread out but also enough space to gather together in the kitchen/main living space. Our kids dubbed this house "The Adventure House" and we'll be reliving our wonderful summer memories for many years!

Gorgeous home!

Our family of nine, ages 1 to 80, had a wonderful time at this lovely lake home. We enjoyed: games inside and out (had a tournament involving 6 outdoor games); comfy furniture and beds, well-equipped kitchen, screen porch. The home was spotless; the host was easy to communicate with. Everything was as advertised or better.

Beautiful property on a quiet lake

A true gem! We stayed at the Gladstone for five nights with my parents, siblings and their families. The house was clean, spacious, and slept everyone comfortably. The extra amenities like the hot tub, sport court and game tables were a hit with the kids! The kitchen was well equipped and the screened in porch was a perfect place to unwind to watch the beautiful sunset after a day on the lake. I would highly recommend staying at the Gladstone for your next getaway.

Wonderful vacation

We take a three generation family vacation yearly, eleven people ages 77 yr to 2 yrs old. By far this house was the best! Well stocked with everything. A very nice welcome basket was waiting for us. The house and property are beautiful. The host was very responsive to all our inquiries. We always go to new places each yr, but the house may make us reconsider.

Family Time

From start to finish this property was just as it was listed....Beautiful, immaculate, views forever of this tranquil lake. We made so many memories between, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, sitting around a fire at night, and hot tub. Games forever we even had our own Olympic games in honor of the Paris games and laughed so hard. grocery store within 9 minutes along with bait & tackle and a coffee house. A much needed vacation with all of the amenities..

Gorgeous house with great amenities. We had such a great time. Enjoyed the view and game room. The house was super clean and the beds were comfortable. I highly recommend it. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gladstone. We all said we will be back. There was something for everyone. I would recommend staying at the Gladstone all 4 seasons. Ahhhmazing Girls Getaway!

Myself and six girlfriends stayed at the Gladstone in December. It was meant to be a relaxing getaway before the craziness of Christmas started and it did not disappoint! We got a welcome email with the door code, wifi password and the name and number of a contact person prior to arrival, which made check-in super easy. The house was big enough for everyone to have their own space, but furnished in a way that maked it feel cozy and welcoming. The house could easily fit three families without feeling crowded and it seemed like the hosts thought of everything from a well stocked kitchen (we did some holiday baking...yum) to beach towels and robes for going out to the hot tub (it was winter after all) and a cute basket in the laundry room with anything you might have forgotten! The hot tub was the perfect place to relax at the end of the day with a beautiful view out onto the lake or up at the stars. The workout room, sauna, and game room were added bonuses. I just can't say enough good things about this place. We have already decided to make a trip to the Gladstone an annual winter getaway for the ladies and we are hoping to find a week in the summer to bring our families. Thank you for a great stay...we will definitely be back!

Kelly, we are so happy that you and the ladies were able to get away for a relaxing retreat during the busy holiday season! With 2 kitchens, 3 stoves, and plenty of work space; the Gladstone is a perfect place to get that holiday baking done too! It’s our pleasure to help in any way before your stay as well as make check-in and your time away as easy as possible. The cozy comforts (i.e., sauna & hot tub) as well as workout room and game areas have been favorites of our guests! We look forward to hosting you and your families/friends again this year! We are certain you will find summer on the lake and sunsets at the Gladstone to be equally ahhhmazing!!!
