Welcome to Grizzly Cabin #3 at North Haven Campground—a beautiful 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom luxury log cabin nestled in the trees just minutes from downtown Bonners Ferry. With a full kitchen, cozy living room, and modern comforts throughout, this cabin is perfect for families, couples, or friends looking for a peaceful North Idaho getaway.

The master bedroom features a king-size bed, while the second bedroom includes two-twin bunk beds sleeping 4. Both bathrooms are clean and well-appointed with plush towels and complimentary toiletries. You’ll also enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with cookware and dishes, a dining area, and a comfortable living room with a sleeper sofa, cable TV, and high-speed Wi-Fi.

Outside, you can relax on the porch, enjoy the sounds of nature, or take a short walk to our campground’s wooded trail. Guests also have access to our bathhouse with laundry facilities and our seasonal camp store.

We spent 12 years in Hawaii managing a portfolio of beachfront vacation rentals and loved helping guests create meaningful travel memories. In 2020, we felt called to make a change and explore a slower, more grounded way of life with our family. That decision led us to North Idaho—and eventually, to Bonners Ferry.

Why they chose this property

The first time we visited Bonners Ferry, we stayed in what is now Cabin #2 at this very campground, which was then part of The Log Inn. We were taken by the peaceful surroundings, the wooded setting, and the potential of the property. At the time, we had no idea that just a couple of years later, we’d have the opportunity to buy the campground and make it our own. We were drawn to Bonners Ferry for its quiet beauty, friendly community, and the chance to raise our family in a place that felt like home from the very beginning.

What makes this property unique

North Haven Campground is the result of years of experience and a dream come full circle. Since taking ownership, we’ve expanded and upgraded the property to include five luxury log cabins, two glamping Conestoga wagons, a tipi, RV sites, a walking trail, and a cozy camp store. Each cabin is designed to offer a peaceful retreat with modern comforts—something we’ve always prioritized in our approach to hospitality. Whether you're here for a weekend getaway or a seasonal stay, we hope you’ll feel the same sense of calm and welcome that we felt the very first time we stayed here.
