A comfy, cozy furnished cabin located minutes from Scott's Creek Marina on Cave Run Lake. Ideal for fishermen, hunters, MSU visitors, or vacationers.

Surrounded by large trees with a deck and outside fire pit, you can relax and take it easy. The kitchen allows for cooking in, or you can eat at one of the local restaurants less than 5 minutes away. The Cozy Cabin is located near many area attractions that are within driving distance including Morehead State University, Sheltowee Trace Trail, Red River Gorge, Natural Bridge State Park, and Carter Caves State Park.

The cabin has an open area on the main floor with the kitchen, living room, and dining room. A bathroom and laundry room are also on the main floor. Two sleeping areas with new beds and outside balconies are upstairs. One queen bed and a full bed will sleep 4 easily but there is room for an air mattress if additional sleeping areas are needed. A new HVAC system was installed over the summer.

The cabin was perfect for our trip to Morehead State University. Host was accommodating of our last minute decision to extend our stay. The extra snacks provided were a welcoming treat! Very comfortable beds and living spaces! So glad we switched from hotel plans to this cabin! It was worth it!

Nice little place to stay

Eat and sleep is all we needed in nice little cabin to stay. As We were down hunting didn’t have any luck but sure was nice to come back to cabin just like coming home

Amazing stay

Had a opportunity to book this cottage when my daughter was visiting moreheads cheer program. The booking was super easy, accommodating an early check in so she could get ready for a team workout and the home was very nice and the location was perfect. We will be staying here every time we visit. Amazing host and perfect little cottage.

Great back yard

This was a great location in Morehead. I love the woods in the backyard. I had not seen lightning bugs since i was a kid. Very cool. Neighborhood was quite. The stay was very relaxing.

Wonderful Cozy Cabin

What a wonderful Cozy Cabin. The host has made sure you have everything that you need. Her attention to detail was greatly appreciated. A full kitchen, comfy sofa, spacious full bathroom, comfortable beds and best of all a very clean cabin!! We truly enjoyed our stay and loved seeing the surrounding sites. Thank you!

We stayed to be close to my daughter on parents weekend Morehead GSP. The location was perfect & we had everything we needed. We cooked for her, the kitchen was spacious & well equipped. The snack basket was nice. It was just what we needed to spend a nice day with her. Thank you.

Great little cabin near the lake

Traveled to Morehead for a family gathering, and stayed in this cabin and it was amazing. Very close to town, loved the screened porches on the second floor. Slept every night with the bedroom doors open to the outside and the night sounds lulled us to sleep with a cool autumn air flowing through. Very clean. Great wrap around porch/deck. Definitely recommend it for anyone visiting the area.

Relaxing visit

We came up for MSU homecoming. It was perfect! Only about 10 to 15 min. from campus. We enjoyed the bobfire both nights. The insude was very updated with all the comforts of home. We will rent again.

We are a semi-retired couple that enjoys traveling and spending time with our family. We especially love spending time on Cave Run Lake and in the Red River Gorge when we are home.

Why they chose this property

The Cozy Cabin is a home away from home where family and friends can gather after a day of fishing/boating on Cave Run Lake or kayaking down the Licking River. A large dining room table allows for family meals and games. The cabin is surrounded by large trees in a quiet location with a large backyard and firepit area that is ideal for roasting marshmallows and telling stories.
We are happy to share our cabin with other travelers who want to visit the area for business or pleasure.
