This boutique establishment is right on the ocean, enveloped in lush tropical gardens with everything you need for your vacation - including a swimming pool. The property sits on a quiet acre with the beach at your feet. The sounds of the waves and the whispers of the trade winds to let you know you have made it to paradise. Watch the turtles come up to the reef or the fish in the tide pools!

Conveniently situated on the oceanfront, your ground-floor studio condo provides a full kitchen with everything you need to whip up home-cooked meals. Admire breathtaking ocean views from your scenic lanai. Extras include beach towels, a TV with cable, and free WiFi. The grounds also feature a poolside grill and coin-operated laundry. Find shopping and dining within walking distance, including a coffee shop just across the street.

The beds are able to be set up as a single king-size bed or 2 twins. We will have it set as a King, but if you would like it configured as 2 twins instead, please reach out to our guest team prior to checking in and we are happy to accommodate.

Beautiful Oceanside view

Nice little unit, right on the ocean. We sat on our patio in the mornings to watch the sunrise. We are just steps from a small beach, perfect for watching the surfers.

The view is unbelievable. Place is on the small size, but has everything. Nice greating package, beach chairs, mat, umbrella, fantastic patio seating, snorkel gear and flippers. Fully stocked kitchen.

Location, location.

This cute little studio condo is literally 50 ft from a little fairly private beach and the ocean. The views are spectacular from the lanai. The condo has everything that you will need for a comfortable stay. It is easy walking distance from several restaurants and a fun shopping center with eateries, shops and a market. Also, it easy driving from this location to Kauai's other attractions.

Great location

The location was ideal for our first visit to this island. Easy to reach north shore or south shore within a days visit. walking distance to restaurants and stores which is handy. Beach and pool very nice. Few items: there is no silver ware - no sheer drape-only block out-coffee pot was not clean and did not use it for that reason. Very comfortable bed and room in general for a couple. Would definitely consider again or recommend.

Nice Room - Beautiful Location - Poor Management

Nice complex with well kept grounds and old Hawaii charm. The full kitchen is a definite plus. The bed was comfortable. The location on what I've always fondly called "Little Beach" is perfect and spectacular. Unfortunately, management is lacking. There is no local person to call if assistance is needed. I agree with others that Vacasa is NOT a desirable vacation rental management and owners must avoid them to maintain healthy reviews and happy guests. They instruct guests here at Kapaa Sands to check in at the office and get a parking pass, but there is no office or any onsite management. Requests for late check in or out are pretty much ignored. And the cleaning needs to be improved. We had an incident with a cane spider and had to take the whole bed apart and turn it upside down to get him out. It is filthy under there. There are dead bugs in the kitchen drawers but thats kind of normal here. I wash everything before we use it, but must report that I found that the dishes and cookware, for the most part, were not washed properly. The shower tiles are moldy but thankfully I found some bleach to spray in there. Its a long review, just to let future guests know what to expect. I do like this place and really enjoyed my stay, but if I was the owner, I would be sure these things were clear to guests and/or taken care of. Folks spend a lot to come here, and we deserve cleanliness and kind attention to detail.

Jeanette, thank you for sharing your experience with us, we're pleased you liked our home and enjoyed your stay. That said, we truly apologize for any disconnect in service you felt and for the cleanliness details that were missed. We shared your feedback with the local manager who assured us that the office is located in the parking lot, on the left-hand side, off of the small parking lot. The parking passes are the condominium regulations. As for the cleaning, we are addressing the valuable feedback with the housekeeping team and look forward to improving the standard for our future guests. We do have Vacasa guest relations numbers posted in the home itself and guests can also text or call in through the Vacasa app. The local staff is then notified of any issues or concerns and local staff is more than happy to assist. Hawaii is a tropical climate, and unfortunately, pests happen, even though we have all units regularly serviced by professional pest control. We understand that some of the tropical pests are scary, but most are quite harmless. We enjoyed having you as our guest and we hope to host you again.

Kapaa Sands Visit

Kapaa Sands is beautifully located on the ocean in Kapaa. The units allow you to enjoy watching the waves come in and admire the surfers performing their tricks. The landscaping is well maintained also.

AMAZING LOCATION!

This is a great place to stay. It is right on the water. Each morning we enjoyed a beautiful sunrise while listening to the waves out on the lanai. The property is tucked away behind lush tropical plants and trees. Inside the unit, everything was clean and bright, and the kitchen was fully stocked. What was also nice was that we were able to rent kayaks as there is a rental shop right on the property. It is run by Charlie who is also the property manager. He gave us great tips on where to kayak and hike. We were able to walk to shops and restaurants. There is an Island Country Market there where you can get great deli food, gourmet coffee, and even gifts. It was a nice find. This part of the island feels like you have stepped back in time to a calmer, quieter way of life. If you are looking for a place with beautiful views, peaceful days, and kind, attentive people, this is it! The perfect rental

Beach access with amazing sun rises- I even saw whales and dolphins on the horizon. Close to a wonderful beachside bar and restaurant. Walking distance to groceries, gifts and vacation activities rentals like kayaks, SUP boards and bikes. There`s an amazing vegan restaurant across the street called Russel`s- I highly recommend them. Lots of hiking near by. There is a little bit of traffic at times and at the moment there`s construction by the crosswalks, so that`s something to be aware of. First trip to Kaui

Studio was just as described. We LOVED it!!. Right on the water. Good location on the island to explore all directions. You can walk to a market and a fabulous water front restaurant, Lava Lava. Very nice young dudes in the front rented us a kayak and tied it on our car so we could make the trip up river to the water falls. Great golf 10 minutes away.
