About the host
Hosted by Tom Ellicott

We love Montecito and finally purchased a home here... but we live in Florida and Georgia and visit Palm Springs when not in Montecito. We are in the real estate business. So buying beautiful homes in prime locations is an occupational hazard. I can be reached by searching for Tom Ellicott.
Why they chose this property
The Ocean and Mountain Views were the prime reason for buying this property. The home is set between two amazing estates but on a quiet street of 5 homes. It is just 7 minutes to the Montecito "upper village" and 10 minutes to the "lower village". There is convenient nearby shopping and restaurants, though the home feels like it is in a remote area. Montecito is blessed with none of the problems associated with other - more dense - CA cities.... It really feels like "Old California" - like a trip to the far off wine country - more than a trip to coastal California.
What makes this property unique
Ocean and Mountain views tell the story. And the renovation feels fresh and expansive.
