Welcome to Unit #116 – The Heron Room, located at the beautifully remodeled Laguna Reef Condominiums in Rockport, Texas. This cozy ground-floor retreat is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a relaxing escape. Soak up the sun in the waterfront swimming pool, cast a line from the 1,000-foot lighted fishing pier, or simply take in the bay views from your private patio.

The Heron Room features a comfortable king-size bed and a love seat-sized sleeper sofa, ideal for the kiddos. Inside, you’ll also find a new armoire for hanging clothes and a new coffee table, adding convenience and charm to your stay. The room includes free internet, cable television, a dresser, and a small dining table with seating for two. A mini fridge/freezer, microwave, and coffee maker provide the essentials for morning coffee or light meals. The spacious bathroom offers a tub/shower combo and beautiful coastal décor.

Situated directly across from the pool and hot tub, this unit offers gorgeous water views and easy access to all of Laguna Reef’s amenities—including shared charcoal grills, lush waterfront grounds, and ample parking.

The Heron Room is just minutes from the Rockport Heritage District and Rockport Beach, where you can rent jet skis, fish, swim, or enjoy a family picnic. Explore downtown Rockport for fresh seafood, boutique shopping, and local coffee at The Daily Grind. Birding, historical sites like Fulton Mansion, and scenic parks are also nearby.

Notice: The Laguna Reef spa is temporarily out of order due to ongoing repairs. The hot tub gets to temperature, but no jets available at this time.

Rockport trip

We stayed here for a weekend trip. The overall stay was nice. We had a bay view and right in front of the pool area. This is a condo but this room was more of a hotel feel with it being equipped with a mini fridge and microwave. We will definitely be staying here again.

Just okay

The condo itself was clean! We were very disappointed by the fact that our son (age 10) could not get in the hot tub. It was not stated in the rental agreement anything about a child having to be 16 in order to get in, nor was is said in the listing itself. It was in the 70's and too windy to get in the pool, so we were not able to enjoy the pool area at all. We will not be staying again, due to this. If you have kids under 16, the hot tub will disappoint you!
