Basecamp - In Beautiful Downtown Pensacola!
Experience the best that downtown Pensacola has to offer! Located in the heart of downtown, this hidden gem puts you within walking distance of all the action! Within five minutes, you could be enjoying your favorite cup of morning coffee, eating the freshest fruit from our weekend farmers market, experiencing one of our many seasonal parades & festivals, or watching the famous Blue Angels soar across the sky!
The space
This Airbnb is the perfect spot to experience what downtown Pensacola has to offer. Newly renovated, this home was designed for the modern traveler: clean, quiet, cozy, and very comfortable! The best part of our hidden gem is how close some of Pensacola’s best local attractions are.
Start your morning off with a refreshing cup of coffee at the Bodacious Brew. Their menu is full of hand-crafted espresso beverages including lattes and cappuccinos, as well as cold brew and single-cup brew methods. Looking to soak up the Florida sun? Spend your afternoon at the famous Pensacola Beach! Voted the number one beach in Florida according to USA Today’s 10 Best Readers’ Choice, our 18 miles of sugar-white sandy beaches are bordered by the emerald-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico and are sure to leave you speechless! End the day at our favorite dinner spot, McGuire's Irish Pub! This incredible restaurant seems to have it all, from award-winning steaks to its celebrated assortment of fine Ales, Porters and Stouts brewed on premise in their traditional oak and copper brewery. Not to mention they boast more than one million signed dollar bills hanging from the ceilings and walls of the Pub!
Built in 1880, this charming home in the historic district of downtown Pensacola was recently renovated in January 2020. The best part is, this house is only a 5 minute walk to downtown’s main street, Palafox. Lovingly referred to as ‘Basecamp’, this house is meant to be an oasis of comfort and beauty on your way to many adventures in Pensacola, Florida. Inside, you will find a modernized one bedroom / one bathroom home with an additional loft on the second story. Our master bedroom and loft both have comfortable king-size beds while our sofa pulls out for an additional queen-sized bed. This house comfortably sleeps 4-6 guests. The main level is based on an open floor plan designed to give that “at home” feeling. While cooking on the gas stove top, you can entertain guests at the snack bar and all the way to the living room! Large windows throughout the house give perfect light to the open space.
This house is the perfect blend of traditional meets modern. You’ll see timeless designs throughout the home such as wood flooring which came from a ship back in 1980 and hand-cut wood accents on the kitchen island and dinning room table. The dinning room gives a classy feel with its vibrant yellow chairs, a chandelier which casts rainbows, and the double sided fireplace. Modern countertops and stainless steel appliances are meant for your comfort! If the house couldn’t get any more perfect, wait until you check out the bathroom. The shower feels like bathing in the gardens of Babylon and the tub is the perfect place to soak. You’ll also love the adventure photography seen throughout Basecamp, which recount many of our own adventures in the recent years.
We hope you love your stay at Basecamp in downtown Pensacola. We also hope that Basecamp inspires many adventures of your own!
