Lake House

We enjoyed our stay. Cabin is an older classic style and is represented in photos. It was clean and had everything we needed and then some. We spent most of our time enjoying the lake and the waterfront area of the property is beautiful!

Stayed in the MacMacken cottages years ago and Weavers sleepy hollow from way back , Those cottages a short distance away, Love the waterfront spot. Takes me back. Love the Lake. Forever in my heart. I’m one of those dreamers that hope you’ll think of us if you ever think of selling . 😍

The experience was okay. The only experience that was had a problem was that windows were open but the windows were dirty on the sides on the inside. It was disgusting.

What I needed.

The cabin was pretty much what I expected. The outside was a dream come true. Tho the weather didn't cooperate, I was able to.hike a couple days, read, and got kayaking in the lst day. Cynthia was prompt with her responses to my questions. Easy check in and out.

great spot on the lake!

The property location is A+. I have had family on this lake all my life and summered here. It's a great place! Cottage is typical Michigan Lake cottage with charming pine walls and ceilings. Lake views awesome. Lots of room, and well-equipped. (nice quality sheets, towels, etc) Great deck, dock, etc. Hosts were awesome with prompt answers to questions (eg how to light gas grill) We were there in July. Good breezes. Only issue is dampness. Some of the windows I couldn't close in rain (wood swelled in humidity) so the dampness pervaded. But its summer in michigan and the breezes (they are on perfect side of this lake!) made it work. thanks!

Nice charm little house by a quiet lake

The house is old and outdated, but has its own charm. Perfect for a small family that looks for a quiet place to relax and enjoy the lake. The owner was very quick responding to all the questions. The house has everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay at Fife lake.

Quaint Comfortable Cottage

Cozy cottage with knotty pine paneling inside and a lovely deck outside. Great place to watch the sunset and have a bonfire on the beach. We even saw a Bald Eagle.

Family fun

The property was as represented in the photos - a little rustic. It had all of the things we needed for a fun family vacation. We fished off the dock, boated, kayaked and made memories around around the fire .

Fife Lake stay July 21-28, 2019

We stayed a week and enjoyed our visit to this Fife Lake cottage. The cottage was nice, but a bit dated. There was only one double bed among three bedrooms, which was unusual. Everything worked well. We thought the property and waterfront was very nice with patio, gas grill, swing, canoe, and dock. I found the boat lift very hard to operate for my small boat. The fishing was very poor, but perhaps that was just mid-summer conditions. We are not used to renting Sunday to Sunday. Saturday to Saturday seems to be the norm. Overall, a very good experience.

Family Lake Vacation

The lake was beautiful, not crowded and very peaceful. The cottage was a little older and probably needs some updates in the kitchen and bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and clean. It was nice that you did not have to bring any kitchen supplies, since they have all that you can possibly need to cook with, except things like paper towels and foil. Overall it was a nice stay and we enjoyed our time. Only drawback was that it did not have air and we had my father there that used oxygen, so it was a bit stuffy, but the fans that were supplied helped.

Great experience. Will recommend to everyone.

It is a nice house with two bedrooms and very cute living room. On the kitchen you can find whatever you need, with only one requirement put everything back, but it is not big deal. Gas grill is directly connected to Natural Gas line that made our dinners awesome we didn't worry about a tank of gas. The backyard is big and has a wonderful fireplace with view on the lake. The lake is not so small it is 1 mile in all directions and you can use a canoe to cover this distance a couple of times if you wont. I will highly recommend this place to stay for more than two nights because you will enjoy the rest at this beautiful and silent place.
