Steer Clear!!
Looks great in the listing, but in reality this property was a health hazard. We were traveling in a large group of 16 people, adults and little kids/babies, to visit family in Middleburg Heights. This property is the Sonesta Extended Stay hotel property in Middleburg Heights and the VRBO listing is managed by a 3rd party called RoomPicks. Each of the 4 units was dirty and in disrepair. They all reeked of cigarette smoke. There was peeling paint, moldy light fixtures, dirty bathtubs, stained carpets and fabric bed frames, cigarette burn holes, missing linens etc. We felt extremely unsafe with the neighbors, lots of drug activity going on. It was too late to find another place to stay for a group of our size but even so some of us chose to leave and pay for a better hotel. We did not end up occupying one of the units at all because it was in such bad shape. The front desk was no help and basically just shrugged their shoulders at us. RoomPicks has refused to do anything to help us get compensation for at least the one unit that we did not occupy. I am not the kind of person who would bash a property unnecessarily, and I have given Sonesta and RoomPicks multiple opportunities to compensate us for the unsanitary, unsafe, unsatisfactory experience we had, to no avail. Hopefully this review will help many other families avoid this place and have a nice stay somewhere else.
