We had a wonderful stay. We loved the location and all the amenities. Everything we needed was in the kitchen. The bathrooms were great and the beds were super comfy. We will stay here again.
Came into town for a family members 80th birthday and this house was just perfect. In a quiet little space and the decor was adorable. The beds were super comfortable and it was a great experience overall. Owners were super responsive. Great spot for us who were traveling with kids and grandparents in tow. Would highly recommend!
We had a lovely time in Hill Country at the Johnson City house. It’s the perfect, family friendly home to launch your excursions from. The house is clean, spacious and Melinda is a wonderful host. We can’t wait to come back!
This was the perfect place for my family to stay while in town for a wedding! It was exactly as described. The hostess was responsive to the couple of questions we had beforehand. I would recommend this place to others visiting this area!
We came here to enjoy the areas, wine, and food, and we’re so pleased with our abode. The home is absolutely charming, well laid out and well appointed. The neighborhood is wonderful for walking, which we did on two separate days. It’s close to downtown Johnson City and easy to get to the main road to go to the neighboring wine areas. We would love to come back when the weather is cooler so we can enjoy the fire pit and Adirondack chairs in the backyard. I highly recommend this property.
We were in the area to attend a wedding. This property was perfect for our 3-generation accommodation needs. I was especially delighted with the host's flexibility related to the check out time, and her very timely responses to our questions. This property had everything we needed and we felt very much at home there.
The house was very clean, wonderfully decorated and comfortable . The kitchen was fully equipped with what looked like all new appliances, dishes and utensils. The beds were very comfortable. The location was great, because it was close to some of our favorite wineries.
The house is exactly as described, and we had a great stay. It is close to everything but was just outside of the crazy busy area with the holiday parade, so it was perfect. We will be back!
Beautiful home! Comfortable furnishings and the beds were exceptionally comfortable! The kitchen was outfitted for real cooking! The neighborhood was quiet and the location was great! Great host too!
The house was spacious and comfortable. The mattress’s were soooo comfortable. Our request for an earlier check in and a slightly different check out was accommodated. We’ll stay here again if we’re in Johnson City.
My husband & I took some friends on a wine weekend & stayed here. The house was perfect for the weekend. We all had our separate bedrooms & the beds are so comfortable!! The hostess responded quickly & answered all questions. She went above & beyond and had a crockpot delivered to the house for our use! It was close to the wineries we visited and we felt at home!! The house has so much character. We will definitely be back!
Very comfortable clean house with a well supplied kitchen for all your cooking needs. Great outdoor space to relax after a full day on the wine trail. Well definitely stay here again.
This is a great place to stay in Johnson City and highly recommended. All the comforts of home are here! Melinda is an excellent host and I will definitely stay here again.
This house was by far one of our favorites we have stayed in! Melinda exceeded every expectation down to even stocking the pantry with popcorn! We had everything a family of 5 could ever need on a weekend away! The location was perfect and we even walked into town for coffee at Johnson City Coffee. The beds were all so comfortable and the sheets were so cozy! The house was decorated so cute too! So many great things to say about this house! Thank you Melinda for also being so accommodating! We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Nice home away from home
We were pleased with the house overall. Melinda was very accommodating for us since this was a very last minute reservation because the place we’d initially reserved for the weekend had a problem with the AC and our reservation had to be cancelled. So, we were hesitant to book something without reviews but we were glad we did. The house was very clean & the backyard fire pit area was a great place to enjoy a glass of wine & catch up, which we took advantage of each night. The neighbors had a very friendly dog and we had a screech owl that visited us in the trees each night, so that was neat to see.
The beds were very comfortable and the couch is great for napping!
We felt secure and the neighborhood was nice for evening walks as well.
One thing to note, the kitchen is very well stocked, but the wine glasses were stemless. It wasn’t a big deal to us at all, but for some folks it might be so I wanted to point that out. We enjoyed our stay & if this house is ever available when we are in the Hill Country area we’d stay there again.
