Pet friendly home. It's an older home but everything was in working order and it was exactly as listed. Perfect for 3 day Spring Break. Great location next to Cinnamon Shores and loved the neighborhood boardwalk to the beach is nearby. Golfcart is a must to get to and from with ease to the beach. Be aware the grass area off the balcony has sticker weeds, my fur baby came in limping with one stuck in her paw. Just something to look out for if traveling with pets.

The house was in a great location, quiet and safe neighborhood, & very close to the beach. The house has plenty of space, big kitchen, lots of room to sit, and a backyard for dogs. Good master bath shower. Nice tvs in each room. Access to the garage was a huge plus. Backyard is not fenced and has stickers in the grass, so that wasn’t great for our dogs. The beds were very used and uncomfortable. The house was pretty run down and needed many repairs and updates. There was significant mold around the bottom and going up the sides of some kitchen cabinets. The kitchen sink was leaking and they just put a bucket under it to catch the water instead of fixing it. Overall, we would stay there again if they fixed the mold, sink leak, and updated the beds.

Cute and close to beach

Cute house that’s perfect for families or a small group of friends. Great location: it’s a short walk or golf cart ride to the beach. It’s a little outside of the bustle of the downtown area but you can easily drive into town or take the beach road in a golf cart.

This is a cute little house in a great location, but it needs a lot of TLC. The beds were very uncomfortable, the motion light in the Master bathroom wouldn’t stay on, there were outlets in the kitchen that didn’t work, and mold in the Master Bath shower. Those are just a few of the issues we had. With some TLC and small fixes, this will be a wonderful place to rent.

Perfect house for our family & pets!

We love the house, it had plenty of room for our family of 5 & 2 dogs. The house is a short distance to the beach, we would walk everyday. We would stay again.

Nice neighborhood

Nice neighborhood and only a 10 minute walk to beach. But poor little house needs some TLC. Kitchen was not well equipped and we did battle little, tiny ants during our stay. I kept spraying them with Windex.

The property was clean and in a good location. If you are bringing your fur baby, there is a green space shared by several houses and the latch on the porch was broken. Other than that, the house was perfect for our needs and we had a wonderful vacation. Communication was exceptional.

It Worked for Us!

This house was close to the beach and had everything we needed. It was open, clean, and well equipped. There was a great boardwalk to the beach that also accommodated the golf cart we rented. It is in a quiet neighborhood and the adjacent beach was populated by families and uncrowded. It provided a great getaway for our family! A big plus was that it accepted our miniature Schnauzer and is owned by dog lovers.

Celebrate moms 80th birthday

We had an excellent vacation to celebrate my mom’s 80th birthday and this location is in a beautiful housing area along the coast line. Exactly is amortized and clean and comfortable and beautiful inside and I highly recommend. I will reserve this location again.

I would not stay in any property offered by Silver Sands Vacation Rentals again as management wasn't sensitive to my loss and someone stole my personal items as it stands now. That's what I'll report to others when ask about my experience with our rental.

But it turned out to be a beautiful weekend with highs in the 70’s. Coconut Charlie’s was roomy and had everything we needed to relax. The outdoor shower and deck were nice and all the staff were friendly and helpful! We will definitely use Silver Sands again!

Property management was friendly and helpful. Location of property was great. The beach is very nearby and it was far enough away from town traffic and noise. The garage space was a plus as we parked our kayaks and all the fishing gear in there, easily. The place was well lit and very roomy. There is a backyard, however, it is shared with 4 other homes, without a fence. The grass is full of stickers so, unfortunately, it was hard for the dogs to walk out there without getting stickers in their feet. We ended up walking them in the neighborhood for potty time most of the time. The neighborhood is very nice, clean, and safe and so it wasn’t terrible. The house itself was needing a little bit of TLC. The master is nice, good bed, good bathroom. The two guest rooms were needing more comfy beds and definitely an update to the bathroom. It was hard to pull the shower door closed and would be impossible for a child to do it. The kitchen had decent things to cook with, although very used, and had a good amount of space. They had a nice size fridge, Keurig, and regular coffee maker, microwave, all of the things you needed to make a meal for the family. Couches were comfy and large TV. Overall, the place was nice for us, would be perfect if they updated it just a little bit, and somehow got rid of the 1000 stickers in the backyard. Very nice management team.

Weekend with out TV - not by choice

We left a night early because nobody was able to sleep because the beds were so hard and would squeak anytime you moved. The chairs at the dining table would also squeak and it felt like you were going to fall through them. This happened even when a 20lb kid would get on the chairs too. The couches are very warn and flat.

Pretty, but broken

The house looked adorable inside and out. Unfortunately, until we started using it. The entrance door stopper was broken and garbage on the floor. Some of the towels were gray from being so old. Master bedroom bed was atrocious! It was basically put together with whatever foam mattress they could find. It screeched with every move. The linens were disgusting, old, and the bed was barely made. No towels.in the bathroom. The bunkbed broke on the 1st night. The beach chairs were filthy and one chair was completely broken. In addition, the management was very unaccommodating. I asked in advance if we could check in earlier and was told to call on the day of. We arrived early, at 11 and saw the cleaning Cree. I called at 2 and was told that it will be impossible to check in early. We walked by the house at 3 and there was no one. It was clean and ready. I called to check for the earlier check in and, once again, was shut down with "no" and "the cleaning crew is working there", which was not true. Bottom line, I do NOT recommend this company and the house, unless the company changes its attitude and the home owner fixes things.

Partial refund request poor conditions

Upon arrival there was toilet paper left on the toilet - guest bathroom There were only 3-5 towels in the entire house for all of us to use for showers. Nobody could use the guest shower because the water pressure was non-existent We wanted to use the grill, unfortunately it was dirty and the grates were falling apart due to rust. Safety hazard Then we wanted to use the fire pit but there's a huge hole in the bottom of the fire pit making it non-functional. Safety hazard Deck has loose boards- my brother in law almost fell through it. You'll know which boards are loose. Safety hazard Outdoor shower did not drain. Lightbulbs were out and not working in lamp in living room, and master bedroom fan light. There was an entire swamp in the backyard that had an entire mosquito colony thriving. We were unable to sit on back deck because of this. Yes, we even had bug repellent. However, there were so many mosquitos breeding in that swamp that OFF bug repellent did little to nothing. Safety hazard House took 6.5 hours to drop from 77 degrees to 73 degrees. We were all sweating! Safety hazard Because of these issues I am requesting a partial refund for our stay back to the credit card on file.

not a clean or comfortable property.

This property needs work. We stayed here because we needed a 1 story for my dad. He is on a walker and can't go upstairs. When we got to the house is was dirty. The bedding felt horrible and there was sand in the bunk bed sheets. We stripped all the beds and washed then they felt much better after that. We did contact property management they were very responsive but told us they would let the cleaners know. The bed in master and in the 2nd bedroom need to be replaced. They completely sink into the middle and are extremely uncomfortable. Master bathroom we did not use the bath. the shower smelled like pee even after we cleaned it. kitchen is not well equipped. I am not a fancy person but the pots and pans were like if past guest just left things behind. so range in size and just not everything you would need. We went and bought a sheet pan for the house because there was none. (along with other items) They didn’t even have sponges to wash the dishes. The decor is falling apart, the house needs to be painted and the furniture was not good. Kitchen chairs are falling apart and honestly a safety hazard. The couch was the only thing I can say that was nice. The ac would constantly go up to 78. We had booked this place for 8 days my mother and father could not handle being there and left on day 3 because of the bed sinking in and the cleanliness. I bought cleaning supplies and cleaned the house. There is also what looks to be mold under the cabinets closest to the refrigerator. We stayed 7 days and left a day early. We stay in vacation rentals often… 4 just this year. This is the lowest-rated place I have ever stayed. buy clean supplies, buy kitchen items, toilet paper, beds uncomfortable, and I didn’t even mention the futon in the kid's room itchy, and rough, blinds are broken in kitchen and bedroom, walls have had paint rubbed off, rusty buckets stuck to countertops in the kitchen.

We deeply apologize that you had to deal with those issues, there is no excuse as to why you were not able to enjoy the stay. We will be sure to do better in communicating and cleanliness, I do see we were informed about the chairs, and kitchen missing items. However we can only accommodate when we are informed about the issues or we are unable to better your stay. Someone will be notified about all of this so we can correct what was wrong.
