Not as expected
The owner was very timely with responses to any questions I had. Very nice and there were no issues with him at all. That being said, overall it was not as expected. Someone did a great job with the photography as well.
The hill behind the house is too sloped to do anything on unless you are sledding in the snow, but watch out for the trash and concrete chunks if you do. The neighborhood was not the best as there are a lot parts of it that are fairly trashy. Some of that is just mountain living, some of it looks like the San Fernando valley. Several loose dogs in the area, especially after dark. The unit is old as expected, I was not misguided. There were several broken items in the home, oven door, clock, torn couches/futons, expired fire extinguisher. Bed was uncomfortable and the two couches which were older futons were the most uncomfortable couches I’ve ever sat on. Could not relax the majority of the time as it was that uncomfortable. The carpets on the lower level were still soaked from being cleaned prior to our arrival. They never dried out during our stay. There were only 3 forks as well, so when we had a friend stop by to have a quick bite, we were short silverware.
Distance to Lake Arrowhead village was a plus.
