The house is dirty and needs maintenance and the host communication is poor

Overall, we were very disappointed and dissatisfied with the condition of the house. After being there for 15 mins we did not feel comfortable staying there due to the conditions so we left and went to a hotel. This house is tired. The furniture in the house is riddled with stains and dirt (specifically the couch and table bench) . The towels are dingy white and look worn out. The bedding is dirty and stained. The carpet has stains and spots all over it. The floor tiles are sticky. The pool had trash in it and the area around the pool is in need of repair. When I attempted to contact the owner to discuss the concerns, she ghosted me. When she finally responded she refused to give me a full refund.

Home with great potential but ultimately didn’t meet our expectations.

Home Overview: - Year Built: 2006 - Key Features: Beautiful pool with waterfall, well-equipped kitchen with double ovens, decks on both levels, two-car garage, and a lift system for accessibility. - Supplies: Hand soap, linens, towels, and paper towels provided, guests need to bring additional essentials. Theme: Disney character themes in every room, suitable for younger children. Pros: - Location: Convenient for park visits and family in The Villages. - Amenities: The pool, kitchen, and decks enhance the stay. - Accessibility: Lift system is a thoughtful addition. - Host: Quickly responsive by email. Cons: - Noise: Noticeable from a busy road in the front bedroom, the deck/pool area, and when windows are open. - Pool Heating: Not heated in cooler months (unless above 65 degrees - this detail mentioned in listing under “Amenities” but not in main description, so we missed it). - Furnishings: Limited seating with a stained sofa upstairs. - Cleanliness: Beds in one bedroom had urine odor when we arrived, necessitated a wash of all bedding before use. Stuffed animals on the beds overdue for cleaning. Stained carpets. - Maintenance Issues: holes in bathroom wall, slow running drain, refrigerator water filter due for refresh, and additional fixtures like sliding door handles in disrepair. Overall Impression: The property's convenient location and luxury amenities were overshadowed by maintenance and cleanliness shortcomings, leaving us less than completely satisfied.

Fun family vacation house

Overall great stay. Owner was very responsive to messages. The house is on a busy road but it did not cause us any issues. Plenty of space.

Great visit!

We had a great visit! We were here for a wedding and it was the perfect place to all stay together. The pool and dock were beautiful. Linsey was very easy to get in touch with and helped answer any questions.

High School Fishing on the Harris Chain

This property is not in the Harris Chain where our tournament was but it was it was close enough to drive and it was close to lake Apotka which made practicing there convenient. The house is awesome, very nice. We fit 3 boats in the driveway which was a little tight but we did it without any issues. We thought the price was very reasonable considering the size and beauty of the house.
