Thanks Melisa for staying with us at Camp Loon. I'm glad your dogs like it as well. Thanks for the nice review.
My wife and I and our two dogs spent 5 days at Camp Loon. It was exactly what we had in mind! Peaceful rural setting with wonderful mountain views and close to plenty of Forest Service areas and state parks and wildlife areas. The cabin had everything we needed and then some and the fenced in area was fantastic for the dogs. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely cabin in the mountains. Has all the amenities needed for a wonderful stay. Very dog friendly. Love the yard for our furry family family members. The deck offer spectacular views of the mountain sunset!!.
Great and remote place. Perfect for a close getaway.
Great place to cut off from everything(wifi only which is what we wanted). Nearby towns and mile away from a market and tavern. Host is fast to respond and accommodated with requests and helpful.
My husband and I and our two dogs had a lovely short stay at this quiet cabin. Owners were very responsive and easily addressed one question we had after arrival. Enjoyed our stay with the fenced yard for our dogs and simply taking in the beautiful surroundings. Would stay again. Thank you!
We were in absolute heaven when arriving to the property! Even more amazing than the pictures. The place had everything you need to feel right at home. From dog treats to kids toys, the whole family was happy. Jason was great to communicate with. We can’t wait to go back!
Camp Loon was just what we needed! Getting away from the city for a few days and enjoying the peace and quiet was restorative. Being away from the city lights and noise allowed us to see the milky way and truly hear nature. The house is well appointed for cooking and relaxing and the beds are very comfortable. Our hosts were very helpful with local information as well!

Thanks for the nice review Rachel. Come back and see us at Camp Lion.
Family getaway for the holiday. Kitchen had all the pots and pans we needed to cook a small holiday meal. Dog-friendly with fenced enclosure. Fireplace! Very quiet and relaxing, quality family time. Owners were friendly and responsive. We would stay there again...Thank You!
Amazing experience at Camp Loon. Highly recommend. The fenced yard is one of many touches that adds to the mountain cabin experience. Allowing us to supervise our dogs as we worked remotely in the mornings. The internet does support multiple devices. Will definitely return the summer, when its warmer for hiking/ exploring.
Nice well stocked cabin surrounded by beautiful mountain range. The fenced yard was a definite plus for those of us that travel with pets.
Made a couple of trips to Breckenridge and several hiking trips to Jefferson Lake.
Don’t forget to support the Jefferson Market and the
Hungry Moose Caboose..food food at both places.
If there was a down side it was the proximity to another cabin. A little close for my liking but certainly not a deal breaker.
Thanks Jason for a wonderful stay.
Everything about our stay was exceptional. Jason is so easy to work with, and Camp Loon is even better than advertised. They have thought of every detail, and the home is so welcoming, comfortable and lovely. The fenced yard is a tremendous benefit if you are traveling with dogs. Our dogs loved it. The views are great, and the night sky is awe-inspiring. Camp Loon is super close to some great hikes in the Lost Creek Wilderness area, which we loved. We have stayed at many VRBO properties, and Camp Loon tops the list! We will be back!
