My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean and was stocked with everything needed if you forgot something. The communication with the owner was great and answered any questions we had. The hot tub was definitely a bonus! The view from the top bedroom was amazing! If we come back to this area we would definitely stay here again!
The property was nice and in a great location. The house was well stocked with everything you could need. Lots of things to do at the resort and within short distances.
We had a fantastic stay! The property was very well organized, and the managers communicated excellently throughout our visit. All amenities were in perfect working order. This is a great spot for families—right in the middle of everything. We highly recommend it!
We were able to use all of the advertised amenities and really enjoyed the house! It was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We would stay here again!
The property was exactly as described for our five night stay last week. Everything was clean, and plenty of room to spread out for two families. The owners were very responsive and helped us out with one minor issue (quickly addressing & replacing some empty LP tanks). We couldn’t ask for a better stay, and we would absolutely love to go back again. Highly recommended!
Property was excellent and manager extremely responsive! 20 minutes to park entrance. House held our group (12) extremely well. Would stay here again in a minute!
We enjoyed our girls weekend getaway here! The resort is beautiful and the area is breathtaking! The house is very clean and organized. Communication with the host was very easy.
We really enjoyed our stay at Chateau Jolene. This home is furnished with so many amenities. The host has thought of everything. Wonderful neighborhood and so much to do nearby. We would most definitely stay here again.
We had a wonderful time at Massanutten and Chris was a great host. The house was the perfect size for our family..the bedrooms are roomy and very comfortable. The deck is really nice with plenty of seating. We really enjoyed the open floor plan… we
Highly recommend this house.
Beautiful property, lots of space, very serene and peaceful. Kitchen well stocked for cooking for our family of 8. Kid friendly!! Excellent communication, patio is amazing!
The home was very clean and well stocked. I had a few questions after arrival and the host was very responsive and helpful. The outdoor area was beautiful and the views are gorgeous.
This place was everything we could have wanted it to be. Me and my wife booked it to stay at for our wedding and it helped make it that much more magical. The house was perfect for kids and dogs and I would recommend to anyone. The host was responsive and amazingly helpful.
Beautiful and clean .Beautiful view for my family's to spend Christmas in the mountains. To bad we couldn't use the frie pit or eat outside cause it was to cold.but overall it's still amazing ..
It was great overall. Sometimes the water didn’t get very hot in some showers and the room with the bunk beds are not really for adults (the weight capacity is low) so we had to figure it out. I would budget for less people than the capacity written but other than that, it was a great space.
While we happened to pick the warmest weekend of the year that left us with no snow and a sold out water park, it didn't even matter since we had this beautiful home to relax in. We had everything we needed and knew exactly what to expect due to the helpful guide that the owner's provided via email ahead of time. This house has more charm that I can begin to list, but also with a beautiful modern twist. The neighborhood is in a great spot with trails nearby. I highly recommend a stay in this oasis. It will be on our visit again list for sure!

Hello! My wife Maria and I are Virginia natives and are parents to three wonderful children. We've always enjoyed the outdoors and love everything Virginia has to offer, from Shenandoah National Park to vineyards and breweries to unique towns and cities. We've stayed in short term vacation rentals over 50 times as guests with many fantastic experiences, and recently purchased and started managing "Chateau Jolene" (named after our much-loved Australian Shepherd!), a chalet in Massanutten. We are committed to making sure that each of our guests has the best experience possible and hopefully comes back to visit in the future!
