Paul was very responsive and helpful with local spots to visit. He gave the history of the house and made sure we had all sorts of goodies when we arrived. The house is very old (which we loved!) but fully remodeled and was quite cozy and had amazing views. I would definitely recommend this property to people visiting the Wicklow area.
We were amazed and delighted to experience this stunning landscape and views, supported by the host and family to ensure we were wanting for nothing.Recommend at least 4 days for full relaxation.
This was our first stop and I am positive it will be our favorite. It was more than we expected. The breath taking views made it so hard to go on our day trips. It’s farm country so the views included horses and cows, fields and the ocean! Paul was. Always ready with answers for any questions. His mom, Angela made soda bread for us. That was delicious.
We loved our stay in Gorey at this incredible farm house. The view out the large kitchen window is breathtaking. Paul went above and beyond as a host to make our stay most memorable. Would definately recommend and hope to go back. Thank you Paul
What a beautiful location! The hills of Ireland right out your front window! The farm was updated very nicely, keeping the brick structure intact. Paul the owner was so helpful with tips on places to see and things to do. And the Irish soda bread was a welcome treat! An absolute Irish experience! Just wonderful! ☘️
We were very satisfied with property. Comfortable beds , hot showers , kitchen had everything needed for our stay. And the views out the kitchen window were spectacular. We definitely would stay here again.
A beautiful setting with a gorgeous view, but what made this place special was Paul Kennedy, the owner and builder. His thoughtfulness included meeting us at a gas station to help us find it, helping us to plan our stay, providing delicious fresh bread, cheeses, chips and crackers and offering his help for whatever we needed. We had just arrived from the airport and having some provisions and his gracious welcome waiting for us was just wonderful. Of all the places we have stayed thus far in Ireland, his place is by far the best. A luxurious experience. If you are staying in with Wicklow mtns, stay here!
