We are a fully functioning homestead off-grid property marrying simple living with elegant design. We run off solar power, water catchment & septic. All our systems are in excellent working condition.

A lofted style home allows for spaciousness, light, views and room to breathe. Two large upstairs bedrooms, with king and queen beds, and a half bath with a luxurious soaking tub. Downstairs has two daybeds, full bathroom plus outdoor shower. Chefs kitchen with all the amenities, deck and front porch for enjoying the lush tropical environment, even a ping-pong table for moments of play.

We are one mile from the gorgeous Kehena Black Sand Beach and a ten minute drive to the Pohoiki Hot Springs. An hours drive to Volcano National Park & Hilo. Pāhoa town is about 20 min away. In Pāhoa you will find Malama Market, the big grocery store and Island Naturals, the organic grocery store. A few restaurants, Ning's and Kaleos are a couple favorite, vegan ice cream and a couple of bakeries. Just down the road from us is Uncle Roberts with live music on Wednesday nights, a smoothie & bagel shack and a small bodega with the basics and essentials. Kalani is half mile up the road offering Tuesday night open mic plus a daytime cafe with coffee, ice cream, local treats, wifi and outdoor seating. Hawaiian Sanctuary is on the way to Pāhoa and offers weekly morning yoga classes. Sundari, about 20 min away, has an outdoor spa open 4-10pm during the week with sauna, cold plunge, pool and hot top. All these places can be found on-line.
