This luxurious 1240 sq. ft. 2-bedroom oceanfront condo is situated on the third floor of One Ocean Place and offers all the comforts of home. One Ocean Place is Garden City's premier luxury condominium complex located just 15 minutes south of Myrtle Beach. The unit offers magnificent views of the beach and has a fabulous deck to have breakfast on in the mornings or a drink with your loved one at sunset. The living room is equipped with a queen-size sleeper sofa, wet bar and entertainment center, housing a VCR/DVD, stereo, CD player and flat screen TV. The room is designed with 5 panels of ceiling to floor sliding glass doors opening to a large oceanfront balcony also accessible from the master bedroom. The master bedroom is furnished with a television and a king size bed. The master bathroom has a Jacuzzi tub, shower, walk-in closet and a safe for your valuables. The second bedroom with adjoining bath has 2 twin beds and flat screen tv. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, dishwasher, small appliances and full size stove and refrigerator with ice maker. This is a non smoking unit.

Was it a dream?

Our week at One Ocean Place was so perfect it seems like it was a dream. Three breathtaking walls of windows on the oceanfront, comfortable and pretty furnishings, excellently updated and maintained. Perfect beach location, peace, quiet, exactly what we needed. We were there over Thanksgiving and this week a this condo was at the top of our list of "Thank You's". Highly, highly recommended!!!

Fabulous Beach Condo

Absolutely beautiful property exactly as described and as the photos show in the listing. This place has a million dollar panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean from the living room. We enjoyed being lulled to sleep listening to the waves coming ashore right outside the bedroom. The condo was immaculate and had everything we needed—even attractively placed beach novels to read and thoughtfully provided makeup towels. When we needed to get out of the sun, the large, nicely furnished balcony was perfect. The complex has great security, two nice pools with hot tubs, parking garage, beach access, and elevators. Owner is very nice and personable. We would love to rent this unit again!

Enjoyable Stay

So happy I found this place. From booking to departure, everything went smoothly. The unit was spacious, clean and inviting. I loved the floor to ceiling Windows. It was like having the ocean in your room. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony, snacking and watching the waves. We had great communication with the owner who answered all our questions and kept us updated on check in status. I would definitely stay here again.

Just Wonderful

We had a great week staying in a beautiful condo which was just as pictured on the website. The owner, Tony kept in touch before and during the stay to assure that we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the Conch Cafe just next door and also the Gulfstream Cafe at the end of Garden City looking across to Murrell's Inlet. We have stayed in many condos listed on VRBO and this one was definitely the best equipped. I think the owners definitely thought about what a guest might need. So thanks for a lovely week and we hope to get down there again next year.

Best vacation condo

This is by far the best vacation condo my family had the pleasure of renting. I was pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen stocked with the essential cookware needed to prepare meals for the family, most places don't. All of the appliances from the coffee pot to the washer/drier appeared to be newer higher end appliances. The entire condo was tastefully decorated. I highly recommend using the Bluetooth speaker, it was extremely easy to sync to and goods great. The owner Tony is only a phone call away and extremely helpful. I would definitely rent this condo again.

Great vacation rental that has everything and then some.

Overall we loved it, especially being ocean front with the 180 degree view. We were a little apprehensive about the parking, but we never had a problem finding a spot to park and usually we got the same spot day in and day out. The condo and all the rooms were nice and clean. Everything worked (refrigerator, dishwasher, range, coffee maker, etc.) and we didn’t lack for anything (kitchen utensils, dishware, silverware, etc.) The elevators were always available and fast with plenty of room. We had no problem connecting to the wifi and had good coverage. It was generally very quiet except for some fireworks in the evening on the beach. The beach chairs you had available were great (the blue ones were the most popular ones on the beach when we were there) and saved us from lugging them all the way down there. The only downside is the Jacuzzi. While we didn’t use the Jacuzzi, we found it difficult to step into and out of it in order to use the shower. Our teenage children had no problems with their bedroom and bathroom. The owner was very helpful throughout - answering questions before renting, calling us while we were there to make sure everything was to our satisfaction and then afterwards to make sure all was good. Our deposit was promptly returned. We knew about the Conch Cafe right next door and was not disappointed in having lunch and drinks there.

Beautiful location with some issues

This is a beautiful property right on the beach! The views from the condo are stunning! It even has 2 pools with a view of the beach which was doubly wonderful given our vacation was right in the middle of a jellyfish bloom. In general, I will be staying away from this area in August. The owner is attentive, accessible & very involved. I would've given this property a higher rating if it wasn't for some issues that interrupted our vacation. The first is a quirk of the building. They have a PA system in each condo. I wish the owner had mentioned this before we checked in because the first time it started announcing something, we were sleeping & had no idea where or what it was. What a way to wake up!!! We had no fewer than 4 morning announcements (around 9 AM) during our stay and they all woke us up as we like to sleep in on vacation. Another problem was the loud construction that went on for days in the next unit. This woke us up as well. At times throughout the day, it was so loud we could barely hear ourselves think! That really shouldn't be allowed during the summer. The last issue was bad timing. In the space of a week we had the water turned off in the building, an exterminator visit (which was announced at 9 AM but they didn't get to our building until 3 PM) & a fire alarm test. I would suggest that the maintenance things be done on Saturday, while they are cleaning the units for the next tenants.

Perfect Ocean View Getaway

Our stay was stress free from the first day checking in through the last day checking out. Tony even provided an umbrella and two chairs that were set up and taken down daily, allowing us to have a front row view of the ocean. We had a fabulous time and plan to return.

This is our second year in a row, spending a week at Tony's condo at One Ocean Place. That alone should confirm how much we love staying here.The condo is clean, it is well decorated and it has anything you will need for an enjoyable stay in Garden City Beach. If you have not been to the area, One Ocean Place is the nicest complex in all of the South Strand area, in my opinion. Tony is as good an owner to work with as any I've encountered in the VRBO world. We've stayed here twice - and we plan on a third time next year!

This property is as advertised. Beautiful, clean and comfortable inside. Gorgeous views from the wall of windows! Easy and convenient check in and property owners were available and very helpful. Easy and quick access to the beach, and the owners had all ready rented beach chairs and umbrella for the unit. Our stay was cut short due to tropical storm Debby - but we will definitely return!

When we came to visit my wife's father in Myrtle Beach after he retired here, we just fell in love with everything about this area -- great people, beautiful beaches, myriad choices of restaurants to name just a few of the many things to love about Myrtle Beach.

Why they chose this property

After having investigated all the areas in Myrtle Beach, we chose Garden City Beach because of it's family atmosphere, quietness and it's beauty. After deciding on the area, we decided to buy a unit in One Ocean Place because, frankly, it is the best condominium complex in the area.

What makes this property unique

One Ocean Place is situated approximately halfway between the Garden City Pier and Surfside Pier. This offers you the opportunity to walk the beach with a destination in mind if you so choose. Each pier offers entertainment and food. The Conch Cafe (a favorite local restaurant open for lunch and dinner) is right next door and offers outside dining.
