We did not get check in instructions and had to call VRBO to find out place was not available (on the day we were to check in) due to damage by a former tenant. We received our cc statement to see the charge had not been deleted.Obviously not a great recommendation for VRBO!
We had a great time during our stay. Clean, comfortable and cozy. We utilized the sidewalks that are everywhere for one of our nights out and just walked to Cidercade and Lola’s because they were both so close so we saved money on transportation! I LOVED sitting at the little patio table in the mornings and drinking coffee and scrolling on social media. We will ABSOLUTELY stay here again the next time we plan a trip to Ft Worth.

Guest house very cute. The host was quick to respond, as needs arose. Apologetic and willing to resolve if needed. Hot water was a 10 out of 10. Slept comfortably. Ductless air system was great and comfortable.

Fort Worth Visit
The property itself was very nice and clean. All amenities worked, including a/c. It was a comfortable place; however, the parking was very difficult as for the better part of a day a truck partially blocked the driveway. If we had had to park on the street, it would have been very problematic as the street was very crowded and narrow.
I did not end up staying here so I cannot comment. No cost stay for the host!

A bit misleading
We did not realize this was what seems to be a renovated shed before we got there. The toilet paper holder was broken, the door lock kept gitching, the air conditioner leaked, and there was no door on the shower. It did not seem like a great neighborhood either.
I don’t know where to begin. When I pulled up to the property, which is in one of the worst parts of town it could be, I couldn’t even get in the driveway because of all of the cars for the party that was going on. Therw was nowhere to park, loud music and kids running everywhere, this was at almost 10 PM at night. I messaged the host and his response was he doesn’t know when people are having parties so there was nothing he could do. I proceeded to call VRBO customer service and had to fight for two days to get a refund, after arguing with the host because he wanted to charge a cleaning fee for a property that I didn’t even stay in. Do not stay in this place
The VRBO was clean, bright and well laid out. I worked from home for a full day and the kitchen table/bench setup was very uncomfortable, as was the couch. The mattress was also sunken in the middle. I was able to park in the driveway, but the street was chock-full of cars making it difficult to pull out of the driveway. Neighbors regularly played loud music outside late into the evening. The shower was great! While the VRBO is close to TCU & Downtown, the neighborhood is rough.

Not the best for multiple night stay
We stayed 4 nights and wish we would’ve stayed at a hotel instead. There’s only 2 flat pillows, 2 small towels, and only 1 Toliet paper roll so we had to go purchase more. There’s not even a Toliet paper holder so it sits on the sink counter. Overall it was not very clean and many repairs are needed. The front door doesn’t close or lock correctly. Bad water pressure and many outlets don’t work. The loud train passes every couple hours and the critters on the roof can be heard all day long. The host was nice and responsive but this place is not worth the charge.

Good stay
Overall, it was a good stay. The location itself is close to a lot of things like food, attractions, shopping centers, and major roadways. The biggest critique would be cleanliness. The bed had some old socks from a previous stay and hadn’t been swept underneath, and there are some stains on the pillows and headboard behind the bed. There were some mild food stains on the countertops in the kitchen. However, the room itself was very comfortable and the openness of the building made it feel larger. The host was also quick to respond to our messages and polite. The AC unit was very efficient, too, which is a must for the hotter weather. Check in was super simple, but the location can be difficult to find in the evening since there’s not a lot of street lighting on that stretch of the block and the property it’s located behind didn’t have a porch light to make the house number easy to read. Also, if you are a light sleeper or sensitive to noise the location is close to the railroad tracks so you will hear the train go by in the morning, but that was not a big deal for me. I would definitely come back for another stay!
