Susquehanna River - Winding River is nestled on a gentle knoll overlooking a horseshoe bend in the beautiful Susquehanna River. Guests enjoy awesome sunset views over the river valley with the rolling hills beyond. There is a path that provides river access for fishing and paddle sports. The location combines a quiet scenic location with the convenience of being less than 10 minutes to the Dreams Park or the village of Cooperstown. The famous Brewery Ommegang is only 2.3 miles up the road, the fries are a must! Or check out the summer concert series at Ommegang~ lots of big time names like ween, old crow medicine show and more!

This comfortable and inviting home has recently been updated with contemporary furnishings and décor. The dining room overlooks the tranquil river view, sliding glass doors lead from the dining room out to the balcony. Enjoy outdoor grilling and dining on the lawn overlooking the river.

Winding River is a four bedroom home featuring 2 first floor bedrooms' one with a king bed and the other with a queen bed, a full bathroom is conveniently located in the hallway. On the second floor there are 2 more bedrooms one with a queen and another with 2 twin beds. The 2nd full bathroom is in the hallway between the two bedrooms. Each bedroom has a smart TV and there is a larger TV in the living room along with a foosball coffee table for fun! Winding River is a great choice to be close to it all but enjoy the peaceful views of the Susquehanna river valley!

This house had everything we needed! It was close to the park (less than 10 minutes), close to town, well kept, homey, cozy, and well equipped with linens/dishes/towels. The owners were very responsive and pleasant to work with. We really appreciated the home away from home.

Views are spectacular!

The house layout & amenities added to our enjoyment of our time in and around Cooperstown. The close proximity to Cooperstown stores and restaurants make Winding River a good location to activities while still offering peaceful surroundings. We enjoyed every aspect of the house & had more than enough room & privacy during our visit. Jim & Karen thought of everything to make us feel right at home. Highly recommend as a great place to stay!

Wonderful Stay

Great house! We had two sets of parents at Winding River while our boys played at Dreams Park. The house was in a great location, well stocked and clean. The beds were comfy and the towels were fluffy and plentiful. It was the perfect place to hang out after a long day at the fields. We had a great week and to top it off our boys won the championship! We will always remember our stay here. Highly recommend!

Idea Cooperstown Location

A few moms grouped together as our husbands were either in the bunks, or not attending, CDP. Jim and Karen were super accommodating and welcoming. When there was a slight issue, they responded promptly and it was rectified while we were out. This location is 8-10 minutes from CDP and we were by far the closest rental to the fields out of our team. If we ever went back to Cooperstown, we would definitely stay here again!

We were 2 families whose sons were at the Dreams Park tournament and we stayed at Winding River for our tournament week. Everything was perfect. Our hosts, Jim and Karen, checked us in and it was seamless. One family took the downstairs bedrooms and the second family took the upstairs bedrooms. The property was clean and well maintained. It was a real bonus to have a washer/dryer in the house. The location was excellent- approximately 10 minute drive to the Dreams Park and approximately 10 minutes or less to the Ommegang Brewery. The owners are very responsive to inquiries and really take pride in assuring their guests have a wonderful stay. If we visit this area again, I would definitely want to rent this property again. I highly recommend it!
