Great cabin for a pit stop with our family on the way to Penn State. Highlight of the stay was being able to see the Elk herd just a short 10 min drive from the cabin.

I am glad you were able to add an adventure of seeing the elk on your way to the game! The elk herd is a real treasure we are happy to have others experience in our part of PA.
The cabin was clean and comfortable! It had all the supplies we needed. The river in front of the cabin was beautiful. We saw lots of elk, deer, and some bald eagles. We definitely recommend this spot and we had a great time! We will be back again!

The wildlife here is one of our major assets, a show in itself! I am glad you were able to see and enjoy the PA outdoors. The Susquehanna River draws the bald eagles which have become a regular scanning the river for fish.
Thanks and come again!
Had a girls weekend and the cabin was perfect! The cabin was spotless and Vickie was great! Can’t wait to get back there!

Our second trip to this cabin. Perfect for a nice getaway! The cabin has everything we need for our couple day stay! We saw bull Elks, deer, turkeys, and grouse! Hope to come back!

Great time at the cozy cabin. Very quiet and clean. Cabin was rustic on the outside and super sheik inside. Communication with the owner was fantastic.

Thanks for the comments on the cabin, I wanted to create a space that you could relax inside and outside the cabin. The sound of the river is something I have enjoyed since growing up here and I wanted to share this beautiful area of PA with others!
Vicki was wonderful with communication and the cabin was extremely clean. The sound of the river and birds was so peaceful. I thought having no WiFi was going to be a struggle but it was the perfect time to enjoy our time with nature . We plan to come back for our next getaway!
My husband and son (age 6) enjoyed a wonderful father-son getaway at this adorable cabin! They enjoyed campfires, fishing and sleeping in the loft. It's located by a gorgeous section of the west branch of the Susquehanna river.

I am glad to hear they had a good time! A stay at the cabin is having a camping trip with the comforts of home. It will be a weekend full of memories for them.
Come again!
Loved this cabin- very clean and really nicely decorated. I stayed for a long wknd for my families reunion. We used to own a cabin on Tunnel Rd in the 70's & 80's, this stay brought back so many memories. I hope to get back sooner than later. Host Vicki was extremely responsive.

Glad we could be a part of getting the family together. Thanks for coming and happy to have you back for making new memories down at the river!
Great cabin. It is off the beaten path, but once you get there, the inside is very well done, newer, and very comfortable. There’s a great fire pit that we used to enjoy a phenomenal evening. The kitchen and items offered by the host is extensive. We really enjoyed ourselves. The views in the morning of the river and the mountains are exceptional

I am glad you enjoyed the fire pit! What is a weekend at camp without a fire?! That is a must! The river is beautiful on the drive into the cabin. It can’t be beat on a sunny day.
My girlfriend and I needed a breath of fresh air and an escape from all the noise. This property delivered that and so much more! We were close enough to home- but far enough away to enjoy ourselves for the night. The owners were so cooperative with the wind storm that came through town and cut power leading up to our stay, we couldn’t be more grateful! We will 100% book this again!
