This property is great! The house is very nice and spacious with a great backyard as well. Location is great. Beds are very comfortable. We had a slight problem with the key pad to get into the home but management got us fixed up quickly. The hot tub was a huge hit with my family and my dog loved the backyard too. Highly recommend this property! We will definitely book again since we come to Galveston often!

Lots of breathing room on the island

This property gave us plenty of room to spread out yet enjoy three generations of family. The location was close enough for us to walk to the seawall to watch fireworks.

Bungalow for the Birthdays!

To celebrate birthdays and Father’s Day, our three sons and both sets of our parents stayed at the Blue Fish Bungalow. It had perfect spaces for dining, food prep, private rooms and beds, tall windows for natural lighting, and a perfect size yard for catching a few rays in privacy. We were not disappointed with our stay!

A very clean bright get away home 5 minutes from the seawall in Galveston. It was a great house to stay for my family and our kids. We had a great time fishing and playing in the surf. The house met all of our expectations.

This house is amazing!

This house is beautiful, and the location is perfect. We loved the big kitchen! No need to bring your own beach towels, they had plenty for our group of 7 with towels to spare. The a/c blasts super cold, so great for the summer. We can't wait to come back.

Girl’s Trip

There were 4 of us girls from high school that wanted a getaway. This was the perfect place to do it in. After having a few issues getting into the property everything else was smooth sail.

Enjoyable

Very comfortable home for our group of 8. We had 4 kiddo's in the bunk room and two couples in the other 2 bedrooms. We do have one safety observation regarding the structure that should be noted. There are some 13+ steep steps front and back into the home that should be considered for would be renters and for replacement in the near future. The home's location and accommodations including the hot tub and grill met all of our needs for a delightful 5 days.

Why they chose this property

When they became empty nesters, they moved to League City and now spend most weekends in Galveston exploring the island or relaxing on their boat while watching the pelicans, porpoises and other sea life. So, when they discovered a place that they could transform into a peaceful oasis for guests to enjoy while visiting Galveston, they created The Bluefish Bungalow.
