About this property
Lakefront Luxury Lodge HOT TUB, WATERSLIDE
Lakefront Luxury Lodge * Hot Tub * Private Dock * Offseason Discounts
Just 51 miles to Glacier National Park, this unique log accent cabin is right on the shores of Ashley Lake. It provides spectacular views from the 1200 square foot deck where you can listen to the call of loons and watch the humming birds feed. Huge glass windows in the 32 foot high great room, a loft library, the dining room, kitchen and bedrooms also offer stunning views of the crystal clear turquoise water and mountain backdrop.
This 5,500 square foot home offers seven bedrooms and four baths. It is complete with Brazilian Tiger wood flooring, porcelain tiling, log stairs and trusses and a gas burning rock fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes stainless steel appliances, gas counter top stove and a Weber BBQ just outside the door. The dining area boasts a beautiful twelve place dining room table with stunning views. Just off the deck is a patio surrounding a fire circle and there is a hot tub on the lower level with easy access from the shore and private dock.
The loft has two large bedrooms, a library, desk and excellent wireless internet throughout the house. There is a "secret" playroom for younger children accessed through the library shelves. There are four bedrooms on the lower level surrounding a recreation/theater room with projector and large dropdown screen and ping pong table. The main floor includes the kitchen, dining room, great room with fireplace and a master suite. Kids and adults love the cool 60 foot waterslide.
Ashley Lake:
Ashley Lake is located in northwest Montana. Even though it is only 30 miles away from Kalispell's major shopping and restaurants, it is so quiet and pristine you would think it is hundreds of miles away from the city. It is stunning - crystal clear lake that has the color of Caribbean water. It lies among mountainous terrain with the lake at 3,500 feet elevation. It is the perfect place for all freshwater recreational activities; waterskiing, wakeboarding, swimming, fishing, kayaking/canoeing, and pleasure motor boating. It is more than a mile wide and five miles long, with over 16 miles of shoreline. Because of the limited public access to the lake boat traffic and noise are minimal. There are miles of trails surrounding the lakeshore and there are publicly accessible dirt roads for your mountain bikes and ATV's that go for miles around the West and North ends of the lake. In the winter there is great snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and ice fishing on the lake.
Fishing and Wildlife:
Rainbow trout, cutthroat trout and kokanee are the primary fish species in Ashley Lake. Some rainbows can get huge. A boat helps to fish successfully. Smooth water conditions are very common. Wildlife species that call Ashley Lake home; moose, deer, black bears, coyotes and wolves. If you're going up into the surrounding mountains, there is abundant wildlife and that means there are bears, so make sure you take your bear spray along.
Boat Ramp Access:
For those with motorboats, the boat tamp is available on the north side of the lake three miles away.
