The Chisum Lodge at River Meadow Ranch is a 5 bedroom custom hand hewn log home perched on 7 expansive acres bordering the Stillwater River in Whitefish. Enjoy the long Montana summer days on the large wrap around deck, eagle sightings across the river on pine trees, Elk and deer grazing, and amazing sunsets.
Views of the Swan Mountains, the Whitefish Range, and the Salish Mountains surround the ranch from all view points.

Enjoy the large stone fireplace and outdoor firepit
along with the regulation horse shoe pit out back.
Plenty of indoor board games, and outdoor games like corn hole.

Just 10 minutes to Downtown Whitefish, and 30 miles to Glacier National Park.

The property borders the Stillwater River, in which you are able to fish on.
We provide fishing poles for fishing.

Wildlife along the property :
You will often see bald eagles soaring or nesting along the river on the pines.
There is a local elk farm across the road that you may be able to view from the property as they graze.
A neighboring ranch gives a western setting and during season the canola fields are beautiful
Deer are typically always feeding on the land.

The entire house is private and to yourself.
River Meadow Ranch consists of two lodges.
This listing is for one of the two lodges.
The other lodge is across the Ranch and is entirely separate with no shared spaces.

For larger groups, weddings, family reunions, etc. you are able to rent both of the cabins on the Ranch together for a special retreat.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The Ranch has varies forms of wildlife that may cross through the property.
Wildlife should not be approached or provoked.
The property is located along the Stillwater River, therefore Children should be monitored or accompanied by an adult when outside.

We have an additional roll away bed available upon request.

There is another lodge on the Ranch, however it is separate and there are no shared spaces.
