The staff was amazing. Just the "hot tub" was broken and the door lock didn't work. But it was a beautiful place. Food was super great and accommodating with my allergies. Great place. Definitely would recommend

Great getaway spot

We loved staying at this charming B&B type inn. They do have a full bar and an outstanding bartender. The setting is beautiful and the location is excellent. Be aware that it's kind of like a great old house, so you might be able to hear your neighbors.

There are multiple seating areas to enjoy the view of the river, some in the sun, some in the shade, the best is right on the dock dipping your toes in the water. The kayak and paddle-boards are a highlight to further the enjoyment. The bar had great Gatsby's era feel. The furniture are stunning and comfy!Down side, our room had a door that connected to another room, and the door was right where our heads were in the bed. This made it so we could hear when they flushed the toilet, talked or watched TV. We also found an empty bottle under the bed next to a tobacco chew container. Over all we love this place, this is our second time. Some of the bad reviews could try to be more adaptable persons, this place is in the forest that gives you a rustic feeling to be one with nature while sipping on cocktails by the water.

The bed surprisingly comfortable. Bath towels nice. Staff found us 2 extra pillows. But only had 1 handtowel. Kitchen exhaust fan outside our room window running until 9:30pm & coming on at 8:15 in the morning. The room small, no hanging space, no bedside lights, no outlet in the small bathroom. No teabags. No kleenex. Food pretty good. Staff is friendly despite short handed.

The room we were given was not at all what I was told we would have - I was told there was sleeping for 3-4 and there was not. I had to pay extra for a cot. The j jacuzzi was not working which was in tiny print at the bottom of the receipt. Will not return
