About this property

Newly Listed secluded cabin in Hocking County

Oak Ridge is a newly renovated cabin that offers all the modern amenities in a secluded private setting. Perfect for a large family of up to nine or several couples to enjoy a relaxing getaway.

The cabin is located on 80 acres of wooded land with a pond and surrounded by
Wayne National Forest, home of the largest Atv trail system in Ohio. It is approximately a 30 minute drive to the many caves, trails and rock formations that Hocking Hills is known for along with the nearby Tecumseh Trails. *No ATVs are allowed on the property.

The cabin features a modern kitchen with everything you need to cook including an outdoor gas grill. The spacious living room has comfortable seating, an electric fireplace, and a smart TV for a perfect movie night experience.
The large master bedroom offers a king sized bed along with a daybed and a trundle bed for extra sleeping space. There is a queen bed in the 2nd bedroom and a full/twin bunk in the third bedroom. There are 3 full bathrooms.
There is a large hot tub on the lower covered porch along with a fire pit and corn hole outside for your enjoyment.

*We recommend guests be comfortable with stairs as they will need to climb one flight to enter the cabin.
We have a camera facing the driveway for security purposes.

A Relaxing Weekend in Hocking County

Perfect friends getaway

The cabin is exactly as described. Nicely updated and decorated with plenty of space for our group. Comfortable beds and great living room. 3 bathrooms for a group of 6 girls was a plus! We took advantage of the hot tub which was clean and ready to use. We also enjoyed hiking around the property. Distance to Logan and Hocking Hills wasn’t too bad and we were able to easily get to town for a dinner out. Highly recommend for a friends or family getaway!

GREAT CLEAN CABIN

Cabin was very nice, clean and well kept. Secluded enough for privacy and close enough to all the parks and attractions. Wifi worked great that was a plus. Overall 10/10 will stay here again!

House was very clean and very well stocked. The kitchen had everything we could’ve possibly needed. Beds were comfortable although the metal frames squeaked a lot, especially the bunk beds. Driveway is very steep so just be aware. Would definitely stay again.

It was very spacious with a great outdoor fire pit. A lot of privacy and a very peaceful atmosphere. It was a wonderful relaxing weekend for my wife and I with a few friends to explore some hiking trails just a short drive away.

Beautiful, updated cabin

The cabin is very beautiful, stylish, and thoughtfully stocked. There were plenty of towels and blankets. The wraparound porch was enjoyed by all of us. The location is slightly further out from the parks, but still perfectly manageable and well worth it with the views it provides. There is no crib provided (perfectly fine with us as we brought our own, but we thought we saw on the listing that it included one and thought others might like to know!)

Absolutely stunning cabin!!

This cabin was such a sweet getaway for my friends and I. It was peaceful and relaxing and not too far from the activities at Hocking Hills! I honestly don’t have one negative thing to say. The cabin was so clean and so beautiful. It was well-stocked with everything we needed for cooking, or for making a fire outside. The host, Veronica, was so kind and accommodating and was always so quick to respond if we had any questions. I would absolutely recommend booking this place to stay! And am honestly already ready to go back myself!

Weekend Getaway

We stayed here for a couples get away weekend with some friends and it was great! The house is beautiful and we loved that each couple had their own bathroom! Only downfall we found about the place was the hot tub had a sewer smell and the water was tinged green, so we couldn’t use the hot tub. There were quite a bit of ants in the house around the back door (traps were out by the door) and while sitting on the couch, we had ants crawl on us. Overall, I would stay here again and recommend it to others as long as the hot tub situation was fixed!

Clean, relaxing, top notch

This cabin is a must stay! Four lifelong adult friends stayed 4 nights and 5 days. Secluded, relaxing cabin but not remote, easy drive for groceries, antiquing, and shops. Very clean, water system excellent with great water pressure. All modern amenities, stocked with plenty of pots, pans, dishes, even garbage bags, paper towels, napkins, dish soap, hand soap, s/p, spices and foil/ziplock storage bags. Plenty of bedding, extra blankets. Grill was clean, nice size, and grill utensils provided. Full Spare tank on premises! Cozy electronic fireplace with choice of colors and even for heat or ambience. Wide range of available tv services (Disney, prime etc). Covered porch with plenty of seating, very relaxing to hear nature, porch has great view of sunsets through the trees too! Easy check in, owners very accommodating and responsive and thought of every detail! We did not use the hot tub but outside clean and well maintained. Note, my husband and I are very particular with high standards for lodging so this is a true 5/5! Stay here! Thank you Veronica!!

This cabin was perfect for our annual ladies trip. There was eight of us staying, the house provided plenty of sleep areas and three bathrooms to accommodate all of us. The kitchen was large with a huge bar area. The dining and living area was spacious, And very inviting. We turned on the electric fireplace and it created a wonderful overall ambience for us to just relax on our weekend away. If bumped up against Wayne national forest, so we took a hike through the trails. The cabin overlooks a large lake , it was a beautiful view on a foggy morning, and we walked and sat on the small dock and enjoyed the sun rising over the water. There is a nice hot tub, it was clean and warm. We enjoyed the area with a fire pit and Adirondack chairs, firewood was provided in a small lean to. Collectively, we all would like to give this place more than five stars because it was absolutely a wonderful stay. I needed to reach out to the owners and they were very prompt to answer and assist me with my need. We can’t say enough about this house and location other than we plan to go back in in the future.
