About this property

Authentic Log Cabin - Sleeps 10 - Hot Tub - Fire Pit - Hocking Hills

Walk in through the front door and the vaulted beam ceiling opens up above you. The wood-burning fireplace anchors the living room, surrounded by a large black leather sectional. The handmade dining table - custom built for the cabin - seats all ten of you. The whiskey and wine bar is stocked for self service; bring your favorites, or pick up a bottle at Hocking Hills Winery on the way in. A washer and dryer are included for longer stays or anyone who packs light.

The basement is the social hub with a foosball table, a poker table, board games for all ages, bean bags, a couch and recliner, and a large smart TV for streaming. A second queen bedroom and full bathroom with walk-in shower are also down here - ideal for guests who want their own level.

Outdoor life includes two firepits - firewood is included - two decks, a large hot tub overlooking the wooded acreage - available around the clock all year long. The evenings at Whiskey Ridge tend to run long and someone always wants one more round at the fire before calling it a night. The 5 acres are yours to roam. Trails are coming to the property, so check the listing for updates. For now, the surrounding Hocking Hills regions more than covers the hiking: Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave, Cedar Falls, and Hocking Hills Winery are all within 15 miles. The driveway is limestone topped and works well for most vehicles. 4WD or AWD recommended in winter conditions.

Whiskey Ridge sits on a quiet rural road outside Logan, Ohio - secluded enough to feel genuinely away, accessible enough to do everything Hocking Hills offers. Old Man's Cave and Ash Cave are about 15 miles out. Hocking Hills Winery is in the same range. Lake Logan for boating, Ultimate Zipline Adventures, restaurants and shops - all within 15 miles. This cabin is for guests who want private acreage as their base, not a cabin in the tourist corridor.

Whiskey Ridge is pet friendly with a pet fee. Breed restrictions apply due to insurance requirements - contact us before booking if you have questions about your specific pet.

Whiskey Ridge is one of the best-stocked group log cabins in Hocking Hills - and fall foliage season books first. My wife and I stayed here with 3 of our adult children, our daughter-in-law, and our dog and absolutely loved it! The cabin is clean, beautifully decorated, and well maintained. A little about us. We are from northeast Indiana and love the outdoors. We have spent most of our vacations exploring coasts, canyons, and caves. We have been to many of our National and State Parks and several destinations overseas. We love it so much we wanted to create a comfortable place for others to come and enjoy what Hocking Hills has to offer in a peaceful setting.
