Maine Family Vacation
My wife and I have been to Maine in the Bar Harbor area four other times. We thought this would be a great place for a family vacation. We brought our children grandchildren and great grandchildren. The combinations worked out really well. Everyone had a wonderful time and made many memories. The kids enjoyed looking for Seaglass on the shores right by the house. We would highly recommend this rental for a family vacation. Everyone enjoyed the campfires at night. (Caution bring bug spray mosquitoes are the size of hummingbirds.) only kidding we had a wonderful time. Thanks Again Denny&Pat Bower

Great for a big family vacation
Our family is a large group of varied ages. The house suited us all well, and the location was ideal! Close enough to all the area attractions while far enough away to feel like you could escape the tourist hustle. The view is stunning!!! We used both the main house and the cottage. The floor plan is a little tricky for seniors with limited mobility (The walk-in shower is upstairs. While the first-floor bathroom is a tub - IYKYK). Common area seating for everyone was a bit tight, but there were many places on the property to spread out. We loved the beach area and exploring what the tide brought each day. Also was a great spot for seeing the wildlife of the area! There is no A/C, so be prepared to run fans, or it gets stuffy during a warm summer night. The host, Kim, responded quickly to questions and concerns throughout our stay. Overall, great trip!

My husband, Adam, and I were fortunate to purchase this property from my dad and Mary Ann. I am a retired Physical Therapist and Adam is an Internist currently working in the start-up technology arena. We have visited Maine with our family for over 30 years and call it our home now.

Why they chose this property

This beautiful location and gorgeous houses were developed by my dad and Mary Ann over the past 25 years. It’s location and views make it a wonderful sanctuary for families and couples.

What makes this property unique

The properties are located on a private road lending the location a quiet, uninterrupted area for gatherings.
