Peaceful and Quiet Getaway

This location has become our favorite place to run away to during the off season. Not only is the view beautiful the decor is as well. Along with the quiet we both can relax and enjoy each other.

Beautiful place! The positives: amazing views, cool house with multiple balconies, comfy beds, nice decor, access to a pool and a boat slip. The negatives: the stairs to the water are quite steep and overgrown, the bedrooms have some windows without shades so the sunlight comes in very early, the host says not to wear shoes indoors, and the checkout requirements are more than most (strip sheets, start dishes, start laundry). We had a nice time here. On the whole, I rate this place highly and would stay again.

This villa was in the perfect location. We loved everything about this place. The boat slip was an added bonus and the views were amazing. Cassie was very responsive when we had any questions. High recommend this property.

Worst VRBO experience we’ve ever had. The unit had AC issues, mold issues, broken furniture, running toilets, run down grill, gutters coming off, and the outside was full of spider webs and dirt dobber nests. The walkway to the marina is impassable. If you see a unit managed/owned by Cassie Dimento do your research. She moved us from the unit we booked to a unit of her choice without our knowledge. When notified of our issues, we were offered a small discount for our trouble. A unit in this shape should not be available to rent on VRBO and we should be refunded for our entire rental.

Spiders

I appeared that property had not been rented in a while. There were spiders and spider webs everywhere. The balconies on both floors were covered in spiders and spider webs and had not appeared to have been cleaned in a while. There were bugs in the master bath tub. The ice maker had dirty ice/ with some type of candy papers stuck in the ice. The air on bottom floor never stopped running even when it was turned up. Its a beautiful place, and would stay there again if it was properly cleaned.

Beautiful view, large & nice unit, could use a once-over

So first, the view is amazing, and the balcony is massive to take advantage of it. There were extra amenities that we couldn't use, like the pool and boat slip. Some of the high windows have stickers that look like blinds. The master is open to the downstairs via a half-wall. All of the living spaces were large and comfortable, and the en suite baths were very nice. My one comment is that I feel like it needs a once over, for example: spider webs and spiders in many places, even on the powder room faucet; broken switch/outlet plates; broken detergent door in the dishwasher; lower level porch had many webs, and one chair was covered; broken cover for downstairs light; and a few others. It's nothing major and easily fixable, but all together gives a feeling like it's a bit worn, especially for this price level.
