Just okay
First the management company was very responsive so I had no issues there. This place is just okay. The house is dated and you can tell but it worked as a place to stay. It is noisy with the windows open, but I think that would be true of any place that is that close to the main road. The carpet seems kind of old and, overall, the place could use updating. Location-wise it was about halfway between Kings Beach and Tahoe City, which worked well for our planned activities. The beach within walking distance isn’t that great but there are others within a short driving distance. The layout is a bit odd. The front door opens to a good sized landing area. Off to the right of the landing area is a staircase. If you go down, you go to the garage. If you go up a half flight of stairs you are in the big room with a king bed and sofa. I thought this room was the best room despite not having an attached bathroom. The carpet was nicer in this room than the rest of the house. Off to the left of the landing area is the laundry room, the twin bunk bed room, a large shared bathroom, and the game room. The game room wasn’t well lit except over the foosball table. The laundry room has an extra bathroom style sink, which works well as another place for people to brush their teeth. The bunk bed room is really small but it worked okay for my kids. From the landing area, If you go up the stairs that are directly across from the front door, you end up in the main living area where there is one of the master bedrooms. There is one bathroom here that is part of the master but also can be shared. From here, if you continue up a half flight of stairs, there is another master bedroom and the kitchen/dining room area. The dining room table is big, but the chairs are kind of heavy which makes maneuvering around the table difficult. The kitchen is okay and the appliances worked for us. We asked for newer frying pans since the ones there had the nonstick stuff coming off and management brought them over same day. Overall this place is just okay and as a place to stay, it can work. It wouldn’t be my go to place though as I prefer to vacation in more updated rentals.

View with noise!
We LOVE taking a summer vacation in Tahoe. The home we stayed in sat right on the main road that goes around the lake. To say it was noisy is an understatement. We did have a few issues like windows without screens, ice maker not working , jute box in questionable working order, downstairs mini fridge questionable and poor instructions on how to turn on the jacuzzi. Our property manger was quick to respond to our questions and concerns. We will be back but not to this home.

Dirty Beauty
Overall location was absolutely beautiful! The house, however, needs to be cleaned prior to renting. Towels, linen, pots & pans should be clean for the guests. We cleaned the bedding when we arrived as it smelled dirty and old. The towels left brown lint all over our bodies. We had to use our clothes to actually dry off. Hot tub didn't work. All of the decks were full of spider webs and years of dirt. A little TLC goes a long way!!!
