The host was very accommodating. The cabin was a perfect location, only five minutes from town. We really enjoyed the outdoor patio with the wood provided for the fireplace outside. It was a great evening to build a fire and watch college football!
Our family loved our time in Toccoa Preserve. The house is well appointed and maintained. It is close to Downtown Blue Ridge and local activities. We hope to stay there again.
Clean cabin with all the essentials. Close to the river to do some fly fishing. We saw several deer and one baby bear cub. Would definitely stay again!
Beautiful place to stay! Home is just as advertised. Kids enjoyed the hot tub and the abundance of games. Making s'mores was flawlessly done. Location of the cabin was close to town and nearby attractions. I especially appreciated the well stocked kitchen and supplies as we prepared all of our meals without needing to bring extra spices or cookware. Neighborhood was quiet and very safe. We saw deer every day and the neighborhood river access was beautiful. The cabin was well maintained and clean upon arrive. Check out instructions were very reasonable. Amazing woodwork and carpentry throughout the home. We had a great weekend!
Absolutely perfect for families or a couples get away. The host thought of everything!!! Don’t question it - book it! I promise you will not regret it.
Quiet neighborhood, fantastic back porch, the most comfortable beds we have had in a Vrbo and a river the kids loved. The property manager was amazing to work with! We are already talking about going back.
We absolutely loved our stay in this gorgeous home. Well stocked, like no other home we have ever stayed in with VRBO. Great location minutes to downtown Blue Ridge. Plenty of space for everyone to have their own area or be together as a family. The owner was amazing to deal with and was very responsive. We will be back!
The cabin was beautiful with really nice/unique details. It had everything we needed, including kitchen supplies, bedding, towels/shampoo/soap, firewood, etc. The hot tub and firepit were really nice after a day of hiking/exploring. Best of all, the host was super responsive and even took the time to send us a long detailed list of activities, hiking, and restaurants that was very helpful. A great trip to Blue Ridge!
The cabin is located on a beautiful ridge overlooking the Toccoa River and includes access to a community recreation area along the river banks. The cabin was easy to get to and extremely clean, and we had a wonderful time enjoying the amazing views. One of the best parts: the owners installed a door so that our dog could enjoy the patio without us worrying about him running off. Everything was fully stocked (including firewood) and we will definitely visit again!
We enjoyed this home very much - perfect for teenagers/young adults downstairs. A little bit of a walk (or short drive) down to the river to fish but once there it was beautiful and lots of room to enjoy it. Plenty of great amenities there for use like beach towels, trash bags, spices, coffee filters, etc. things there are always a pain to remember to bring. Hot tub is fantastic and seems brand new! Would definitely recommend this home!
Perfect weather, comfortable and well equipped home - what more could we ask for! Problem with a faulty thermostat (no heat) but owner was very responsive in resolving issue.
I can't say how much we loved our stay at this beautiful cabin that is only minutes from quaint downtown Blue Ridge, yet feels nestled away in the mountains. We stayed here with out-of-town friends and the well appointed kitchen, hot tub and fireplace made our stay extra special. This cabin is perfect for three couples with each of the three floors having a bedroom and bathroom, and you definitely could sleep a few more if needed. We loved having fires on the deck and looking at the mountains, they even have a cute sightseeing train that goes by in the valley below! We also went down to the river access and watched some fly fisherman catching trout while we ate our lunch. The host, Ashley, was wonderful and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. I can't say enough good things about this cabin and will definitely be booking again.
We had a great time at the Georgia Mountain home with a teenager, 6 year old, 3year old and 4 adults. The location was close to the Toccoa River. We could walk to the river with our dog and fly fish. We paddled with our inflatable paddle boards from Tammen park back to the Toccoa Preserve community park. The home was comfortable and had all the necessary kitchen items. We had a fire in the fire pit with plenty of wood provided. We were close (20 minutes) to Aska trails for hiking and biking. The weather was beautiful for July- especially compared to central Florida.
Our stay at this cabin was everything we hoped for and more. The location is ideal — just minutes from downtown Blue Ridge, Old Toccoa Farms golf course, Lake Blue Ridge Marina, and McCaysville. It was the perfect blend of peaceful mountain retreat and easy access to great food and activities. The cabin itself was spotless, beautifully designed, and clearly well cared for. We loved beginning our mornings with coffee on the spacious, covered deck while watching the sun rise over the mountains. The cabin had everything we needed and we truly had zero complaints. Everything worked as advertised and the host is extremely helpful and responsive. She gave great recommendations for places to eat.The Tavern at Old Toccoa Farm was a standout. We enjoyed a delicious dinner with sweeping views of the golf course, valley, and mountains. The pecan-crusted mountain trout and smoked trout dip were particular favorites, and the relaxed yet refined setting made for a perfect evening.Whiskey and Water was also a great meal nearby. Wouldn't hesitate to book this cabin again and may look to go again later in the fall so we can enjoy the many fireplaces.
Perfect getaway home away from home by the river!!
We were more than blown away by every detail of this well-appointed home. They’ve thought of everything from stocking & back stocking supplies, to incredibly furnishing & decorating the house to make it feel like home. Everything is labeled so you don’t have any questions, but if you do, the owner is beyond helpful & communicative. We had a power outage due to a quick storm, & the owner was immediate to make sure we knew the county was on it & followed up to be sure the power was back on after checking the grid for us. Can’t say enough about this beautiful home, the incredible neighborhood amenities we enjoyed every day (don’t miss going to the river!!!); we will be back!
