Great Location for Visiting with Family

We had a great stay here. It was clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. We weren't at the house too much during the day because we were visiting with family but in the evenings it was great for relaxing.

We had a great stay at this property. The property was as listed. It was in a quiet neighborhood. It has a nice size backyard. It is near all the main stores that you would need while vacationing. We would definitely stay here again.

We’re glad you enjoyed parts of your stay, but we would like to clarify a few points for future guests: First, we take cleanliness very seriously and our cleaning team works hard to prepare the home before every check-in. The refrigerator and trash were in proper condition prior to your arrival. If there was any concern, we would have appreciated the opportunity to address it right away had you notified us. Regarding insects, we want to clarify that our property does not have cockroaches or indoor infestations. Any occasional outdoor pests are typical of the Florida climate, especially during the summer heat wave. As for the air conditioning, it functions properly, but it’s important that all doors remain fully closed. During your stay, the doors were left open while temperatures outside were very high, which affects the AC’s ability to maintain a stable temperature. Finally, the washer and dryer are not listed as available amenities and were intentionally unplugged. Despite our communication, you attempted to use the washer, which resulted in it becoming jammed. We always do our best to provide a great experience and encourage guests to read the listing carefully and respect the house rules to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay.

Our water comes from a natural well, which can sometimes have a different smell due to its mineral content, but it is safe and filtered through our water treatment system. Regarding the insects, Florida’s tropical climate and vegetation can occasionally bring outdoor bugs indoors, even with regular pest control, which we perform frequently. We also noticed that your group exceeded the maximum number of guests allowed and that additional visitors entered the property, but we decided not to charge the extra guest fee out of courtesy. We do our best to offer a clean, comfortable stay for all our guests, and we appreciate your understanding of the local conditions and house rules. Decent enough. Rather cheap on the kitchen suppliesfor cleaning. No access to garage. AC set too high it was difficult to set the right temp. I would not stay again unless it was the last hike to rent.

While we welcome all guests with hospitality, it's important to clarify a few points for future travelers: Our listing clearly states that the home accommodates a maximum of 6 guests. Unfortunately, during your stay, over 15 people were present, which is a serious violation of house rules and safety limits. Additionally, the “garage” is not a garage—it is a closed room as described in the listing, and it's not meant to store large items such as car doors. It is also clearly noted that there is no guest access to this room. During your stay, the patio area was used to make open fire, and a vehicle was even driven into the backyard, which is not permitted. All cars must remain parked in the designated driveway as stated in our rules. As for the AC, it was fully operational and set at standard comfortable levels, but we always encourage guests to reach out if they need assistance during their stay. Lastly, regarding your request to stay an extra night—we would have gladly extended your stay, but the home was already reserved by another guest. We appreciate your visit, but we kindly ask all future guests to respect the property, house rules, and our hospitality to ensure a great experience for everyone.

Great Getaway

My friend and I came to the area to fish Headwaters Lake and Stick Marsh / Farm 13. This home provided an excellent location for our trip. We were just 20 minutes from the boat ramp. There is a Publix located just 2 miles away. The surrounding area has plenty of dining options and the neighborhood is quiet and very nice. We will certainly check this listing for availability when we plan our next trip to Palm Bay.
