If being outdoors is more your speed, hike around the lake (about 4 miles) watch all the wildlife outside, do a little fishing on the lake (winter/ summer) or snowmobile on miles of trails (winter, of course) and get back to the basics of life.

Beautiful cabin! Very spacious, loved the open concept. Had everything we needed. The hot tub was a great bonus. We enjoyed our stay here. Host was also very responsive and helpful!
Our stay was wonderful. Plenty of room for 8 adults and one infant. Nice warm and cozy with fireplace. The place was very clean maintained well. The hot tub wasnt working but then it was -15 below with a wind chill. Would love to go back again for the holiday gathering or during the summer
Extremely nice and help full. Place was nice during a extreme cold weather snap. Well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. Could have a go thru and organize drawers. They recommended federal Co-op for firewood and misc. I would NOT recommend they were plain out rude, not at all helpful. Maybe they had a bad day, but it was 2 days in row. Scandia cool little town and easy to anything. Thank you again. Would recommend this place, winter or summer.
We loved our stay! This is our 2nd time renting this home and it is a perfect place for a family gathering.

The house was very nice, but the property could use cleaning up such as trimming of the bushes and weeds pulled. The cushions on the chairs outside were dirty were we couldnt use them but the back deck was wonderful for beautiful conversation! Would love to see what it is like in the summer with the use of the dock and all the accessories. The house had everything we needed.
Exactly what I was looking for while looking into a relaxing cabin get away! The hot tub was amazing! And the sunrise in the morning was so peaceful and quiet! Kids had a great time, the open space made it easy to keep track of them! Definitely would book again
My wife and a handful of friends stayed for a weekend during the winter and had a fantastic time. The cabin is beautiful and set on a nice looking lake. We really enjoyed the fireplace and the hot tub during our stay.

We had a great time and it was better than we anticipated. Everyone loved the place and amenities. Very clean. Wonderful weekend. We hope to do it again
What an amazing cabin. We stayed during the winter. Loved the wood burning fireplace and hot tub. It was close to a couple ski hills, and also close to some good restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.
We had an amazing time at this home for a girls weekend getaway. Very clean, kitchen well stocked and overall great. It seems like an even better place for a summer getaway and we already talked about booking another trip here.

This home and property/location are amazing! A little late in season to enjoy water/lake and dock, but will definitely be back next spring to enjoy. Listing is spot on!
Lots of fall leaves..😉
Our friend group booked this property to spend quality time, in a natural setting on a lake, yet close to city activities. This Bone Lake escape brought it all and then some. Sadie was very responsive, the home was clean, and the hot tub was a delighter. We liked the easy access to the lake for kayaking and paddle boarding, plenty of room on the driveway for parking, the massive kitchen and living room space for cooking meals while conversing, and the screen porch for dining with a view away from the elements. We also enjoyed the fire pit. The bedrooms were plenty big and accommodated all of us so we each had our own bed. Bathrooms were plentiful too. The best part about this location is the feeling of being in the woods surrounded by nature, yet very close to bigger cities for day trips. We visited Stillwater, Scandia and Taylor’s Falls. We would definitely return and highly recommend to anyone looking for a glamping experience with a group or family.
We stayed over new years and had a fire every night and enjoyed the hot tub to stay warm. Great spaces to allow family privacy and beautiful kitchen to prepare family-style meals. We'd come back over summer for sure, the lake looked beautiful.

Stayed here for a girls weekend and it was perfect! Plenty of places to sit and sip a cup of coffee, play some games, or watch a movie! Close to hiking. A wonderful lake and backward area - and to top it all off - a hot tub! Would definitely stay again.

Thank you for the lovely review, Autumn! We hope to welcome you back in the future!
We chose this house for how close it was to Redeemed Farm where our son was getting married. It was so peaceful and quiet. We especially enjoyed unwinding in the hot tub over looking the lake. The host was great to respond to questions, super nice to work with.
Everything about the place, from the lakefront location to the things to do on the lake and inside the house, were wonderful, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and great to work with.
