About this property

This is a uniquely beautiful chalet located in the desirable Chalet Village. Ober Mountain is a 3 minute drive while downtown Gatlinburg is a short 5 minute drive. The home's three bedrooms are ideal for two families traveling together, a few couples, or a group of friends. The master is on the top floor with it's own deck, full bathroom, and landing space with a futon and television. The queen bed is in a cozy area on the main level while the bottom floor bedroom offers a large room with 2 queen beds, full bath, washer/dryer, and a door to the outdoor patio with a hot tub. Sit back and relax in front of the 65" Roku TV on the main level or step out onto the large deck and enjoy the sunset. In the summer, you have full access to the Chalet Village pools, clubhouse, tennis courts, and playground. Our Chateau has lots of outdoor space, whether you are looking for privacy or gather for a celebration, one of the decks will meet your needs. Soak in the hot tub, host a picnic or relax and enjoy the view. Please be aware the driveway is short and steep up to a level landing and it is best to have a higher clearance vehicle! There are a lot of steps - if mobility is an issue this is not the location for you. Note: there is a Ring Security Camera on the outdoor floodlight.

Perfect Spot

We truly enjoyed our stay here. It's is a great location for visiting GSMNP--just ~10 from Sugarlands Visitor's Center. We were visited by a mother bear and her three cubs twice and got some excellent viewing of them as they wandered around the property and that of the adjacent houses. (Word to the wise: don't go in the hot tub after dark. We didn't spot momma until she was about 10 ft away at the grill. They fled when my husband stood up, but it did cause quite some excitement.) Also saw one lone bear crossing the road. A tip for navigating the mountain/drive way: if your gps tells you to turn left off of Ski Mountain Rd, don't do it. Stay straight and take the sharp right instead. This will bring you around the other side of the mountain and make it easier to get into the driveway. Highly recommend.

Great stay

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. The driveway was very steep, which was listed in the description but I didn’t realize just how steep it was till we got there. We managed just fine though and had a wonderful stay. Communication with owner was easy and check in/checkout was easy. Thank you for a great vacation!

Weekend getaway

Location property was amazing beautiful I would suggest, however, repairing the walkway up to the cabin main door entrance. Difficult to walk up and down other than that pitch perfect

Great location and beautiful cabin!

We had such a great stay here! The cabin was very clean and the host was very responsive and informative. We loved that the Christmas tree was already up. I definitely recommend this property and would love to stay here again!

Lovely

Beautiful cabin. We had a peaceful stay and enjoyed the space. Difficult to get up driveway was the only challenge. Very clean and comfortable. All we needed to cook. Hot tub was clean and warm! Owners very kind and responsive! No problems! Highly recommend!
