A Guest Fixer-Upper?

Not prepared for guests, from swamp cooler breaking on moving-in day t(and never being fixed during 6 week stay) to bare bulbs hanging from the ceiling fans to no waterproof shower curtain to a hole in the walls being spackled and not finished to weeds instead of grass to (no fault of the property owners) raw sewage coming up the floor drain in the laundry room - not your ideal get-away from it all house.
