We loved staying here! It was perfect for our quick trip through Yellowstone! Being so close to the park made it easy to spend as much time exploring as possible. The room was clean and cozy and comfortable. It's not too big but it was just my wife and I, so it was perfectly situated for the two of us.The host was quick to answer my questions, but I didn't have too many as the information was spot on. Checking in was easy as well, which is a big plus while traveling.
Very adorable place. Nice hot shower, large bed, coffee was n sight. Walkable town with cute stores. Easy check in and check out.

Easy check-in and cute room!
The check-in process was super easy and convenient with the keypad code. We were able to get in smoothly without any hassle. The room was decorated so cute, with thoughtful touches that made it feel welcoming and comfortable. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The onsite ice machine came in handy. We appreciated the text after our first night asking how things were. We had a great stay!
Loved our stay at the bucking moose! It was close to everything in town and was very clean. We would definitely stay there again on our next trip to West Yellowstone!

The bucking moose
The bed was extremely comfortable and had all the amenities we needed, definitely will stay there again!
Everything was great. The room was small, but was all we needed. Could park right at the door, and the town was easy to get around. We would recommend this place!
This stay worked perfect for accessing and touring Yellowstone. Also the 1950 western ambiance provided a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Hats off to the owner’s cleverness! We will be back.
This property was comfortable and provided everything we could want. It was walking distance to stores and restaurants. The room was very clean and the bathroom included shampoo, conditioner and body wash nice touch.
Cabin is just as described. Very clean and comfortable. Has an issue getting in but was able to contact owners ASAP and they were very helpful! Love the location- close enough to walk to downtown but quiet. We enjoyed being able to sit outside at night at the tables. If you like BBQ, don’t miss Firehole BBQ- it is worth the wait if there’s a line. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends !
In a perfect location for walking to restaurants/shops, host was very responsive and got us a cooler to take to Yellowstone. However, the room was much smaller than it seemed on the post, the bed was super uncomfortable, and you could hear people through the walls. Overall, a good place but I think overpriced for what we got.
We thought we were renting a cabin, so we were a little surprised that it was actually a motel room. It was fine, however, it was showing its age.

Just Okay
Probably would not stay here again. There were no TV channels, not even local channels. The coffee service had wrong bags for the coffee maker and a bag of coffee grounds with no filters. Fairly expensive for just a bed and shower but is the peak season. We did find some very good restaurants near the room.
Small, clean, and convenient location. Overall very good EXCEPT the wifi service nor the ice machine were working. When we contacted the property manager she said it would be fixed the next day (we stayed three days) but never was. Other than those issues, the place was great.
If you are looking for a clean place to stay right next to Yellowstone (literally 5 min away) then this is the place for you. If you want something with lots of amenities, and lots of space, you may want to look elswhere.
Pros:
-Clean
-Easy to get to
-Close to park, restaurants, gas, and shopping
-Easy check in/check out
Cons:
-Small
-Limited storage
-Limited parking
-Thin walls
-Firm mattress
Decent place to wind down after a day at the park. For context, we were there the last week of October.
Room:
Small motel style room (bed, small fridge, microwave, desk, chair, and a couple bedside tables). It was me and my husband, with two full size suitcases and a couple backpacks, and it was tight. Room stayed nice and warm even with the cold temperatures outside. Unfortunately, the only place to hang up jackets was all the way in the back of the room, which sucked when you walked in from the snow. No real good place to take off wet shoes, so the area by the door got full of snow and leaves no matter how much you kicked stuff of your soles before entering. I would think the room would be great in the summer, but it was a little difficult in the winter.
The bathroom is small and COLD. I understand it was winter, and it was around 30° outside, but the bathroom could use a heater vent, or better insulation. It was frigid in there in the mornings.
Overall, it got the job done. We were rested in the mornings, ready for another busy day at the park... and we didn't pay $300 for a room in the other nearby hotels.
This unit was tiny, but worked well for those looking to have a place to sleep and shower. The bathroom appeared to be recently updated. Overall the unit was clean and suited our needs.
My husband and I stayed here while in Yellowstone on part of my 50th Birthday Trip from Glacier to Jackson. The 1 bedroom unit is small, but was very clean, cute and comfortable; we had all we needed for the 3 days there and the location was perfect - close to everything in W. Yellowstone including the W. entrance to the park. I would definitely stay here again.
