About this property

Our newly remodeled 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom family lakehouse is situated on a flat and partially wooded 1-acre with frontage on the calm and clean Lougee lake just SE of Pelican Lake. The split-level layout with separate sleeping areas (2 bedrooms and a bathroom) is great for a multi-family escape. Take in the dazzling sunsets from the deck, romp in the snow, go exploring on the crystal clear 212 acre lake, or drink some coffee by the fireplace while you watch the snow fall outside.

Great time on Lougee Lake

The house was clean and very nice. The kayaks and row boat were great. The only complaint is the 3rd bathroom is in the laundry room...not attached to a bedroom which we thought it was. That could be just the way we read it. Overall very nice and would certainly go back again. Did I mention the clean lake!! There was everything you needed in the house.

Fun Summertime Family Vacation

Our group of eight had a fun, comfortable Minnesota summer retreat. Four bedrooms with cozy beds, and two bathrooms. Kitchen stocked and updated appliances in good order. Nice outdoor deck. Dock for our boat. Two kayaks and one canoe. Shed with oars, life jackets, lawn games and tiki torches! Lake is crystal clear. Bass, northerns and panfish were biting. We enjoyed our week and would recommend to others looking for a serence, 'up north' experience.

Great experience!

Loved the setting! So peaceful. Perfect for a quiet get away! The house is set up great for two people or a crowd! Love the separate living areas. Love the super large deck! Fire pit was a relaxing ending to a fun filled day. Super quick communication with owners, all the amenities you need. Great stay!

Wonderful Family Retreat

This property is the perfect combination of lake life and luxury. The beds were more comfortable than my bed at home! The kitchen was perfectly stocked. The swimming beach was great for our kids age 4 to 12. The lake was calm, clean and beautiful. I highly recommend!!! We will be back.

I'm also the executive director of an ecological nonprofit I founded with my husband and a few others called The Understory Initiative. I love going on hikes to look at wildflowers, whitewater rafting, building things, and going on adventures with my husband and daughter.

Why they chose this property

Some of my favorite aspects of this lakehouse are how peaceful the lake and surrounding areas are, the wonderful neighbors, and the clean swimmable lake. I also really love the layout of this house that provides good separation of space for 2 or more families.

What makes this property unique

Loguee lake is one of the cleanest lakes in the area so it's great for swimming all summer long. This lakehouse is also unique because it's in a quiet neighborhood but only a short drive away from Pelican lake, Brainerd, and other more bustling areas.
