Super beautiful private cabin. The Lake view was amazing from both up and down! Good Bass and Northern fishing lake. Nice clean rooms, and our host was wonderful. The Mississippi runs into Rice lake. It was amazing seeing all the wild rice along the banks!

Cabin was clean, well stocked, quiet and had a beautiful lake view. It had everything that we needed and a bonus was that it was pet friendly. It was also located close to Brainerd and many attractions. We had a wonderful vacation and would definitely recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful girls weekend. The cabin is stocked with amenities we all need during our stay. The cabin was warm and cozy and the beds were so comfortable! The atmosphere outside the cabin is rustic and peaceful. Perfect little simple place with a beautiful view of the lake and beautiful sunsets. We all agreed we would come back for sure. Cabin was clean and smelled good. Thank you also for being so responsive to our messages when we messaged you. Easy check in and check out too!

Peaceful cabin - beware of poison ivy

We enjoyed our stay here - the windows overlooking the lake are beautiful and the furnishings are mostly updated. However, as a previous review mentioned, there is a lot of poison ivy growing around the property. I wouldn’t have even noticed (or expected to have poison ivy growing around a vacation rental) and things might have gone south if our dog had gotten into it. Note that the “get directions” button will lead you to the neighbors house, and that the cabin is not the first house you see when you drive into the property, but rather to the left side, through some unkempt walkways, and down rather large steps to the front door.

Good things: Clean and modern interior. Great lake views. Good communication. Outside grill was good. Caught bluegills, bass, pike, bullheads and catfish.Quirks: Steps to cabin not even. Grass wasn't trimmed to water's edge, I had to buy a trimmer to knock down high weeds and sticks and stuff so we could fish from back yard.

Great cabin!

My friend and I spent a couple nights at this cabin and it was perfect! The area was peaceful, the lake was great for canoeing and watching lions, and the cabin was exactly as it was described! Highly recommend!!

Lovely quick getaway

My husband and I decided last minute to come up to Brainerd for few day getaway. The location on the lake is beautiful. We brought our SUPs and paddled every day, and did some mountain biking nearby in Cuyuna State Park. Property was perfect for our needs, property manager super responsive, we'd definitely come back here again.

Great lake front cabin

The two of us had a wonderful stay. We had a great time in the canoe and did some fishing in the lake. We also had some wonderful campfires in the evening and enjoyed a the quiet and beauty. The sunset views both inside and outside were spectacular. We loved the big windows open to the outdoors, matter where we were, we were surrounded by nature. Also, Rebecca, who helps manage the property was amazingly responsive and supportive when questions came up.

Great little cabin!

Had a great stay with very nice views of the lake and wildlife. Love the Loons on the lake and the Bald Eagle cruising the lake and then perching in the trees. There is was also a Osprey Eagle that showed up diving into the lake in front of the cabin grabbing fish.

Quiet Retreat

The house was a quaint, clean, and quiet place to stay. We very much enjoyed spending time on the dock and on the small balcony outside the sitting area. Owner could spend a little more TLC on the outside spaces, but it really didn't make our stay unpleasant in any way.

An amazing getaway with our dogs:)

This place was absolutely beautiful!! The views were spectacular and the Loon and Eagle sightings and sounds just made it perfect. The location is great for many daytime adventures and we would suggest this home to anyone! Our dogs loved just looking out the windows and wandering around the yard on their leashes:)

Wonderful and brand new! We had a very nice stay in this brand new little cabin. It was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The owner lives on the property and is very helpful and friendly. We would stay there again!
