Rustic hunting cabin

Located in the middle of our family farm. Very secluded. Peace, quite and wildlife. I have a lake that I allow guests to fish in. Cabin is 750 sq feet with a wood burning stove and AC. Hotpot on personal cell is how Wi-Fi is accessible. Good cell coverage.

If you are looking for a secluded stay with a truly tranquil atmosphere and relaxed vibe, this is your spot! The host was very polite, Had great communication and directions for an easy check in and out. I would absolutely recommend this location and I'd definitely enjoy another stay on this property. The location was a quick drive to restaurants and stores, but still far enough away from the hustle for peace and lots of nature. We enjoyed our stay!

This is as good as it gets for folks that love the simplicity of a nice cabin in the great outdoors. Private location, authentic vibes and the nicest owner one could hope for. God bless this place - we will be back!

First I want to say the host was very kind and accommodating, very nice man. If you like peace and quiet, this is the place! Very nice, rustic cabin with plenty of wildlife to see. If you like being out and want a comfortable stay, this is for you. I highly recommend and would definitely stay again if the need arose.

Words cannot begin to describe the beauty that is this cabin! Perfect getaway to take a break from the chaos of life, while still being 15 minutes from town and about 25 to fort benning. Host went out of his way to ensure my stay was comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

I absolutely loved my stay at this rustic long cabin! From the moment I arrived, the place felt cozy, welcoming, and wonderfully tucked away in nature. The accommodations were genuinely fantastic — clean, comfortable, and full of that charming cabin character that makes you instantly relax.And the scenery… wow. Just breathtaking. Every morning felt like stepping into a postcard. Peaceful, quiet, and absolutely stunning.The air conditioner was fine — not amazing, but definitely workable — and honestly everything else was so great that it barely mattered.

Perfect Getaway

We booked the cabin for a weekend visit to Pine Mountain. It was so peaceful and a perfect location. It was also nice because we were able to bring our dog with us.

No review because you did not stay. As I stated multiple times, there was no, is not and has not been a gas leak. 3 guest reviews across other hosting platforms plus an inspection by propane provider confirmed this.

Perfect family getaway

This family hunting cabin is phenomenal!!! It was so peaceful and quiet we enjoyed every minute of our stay. This isn't no 5 star hotel but this is definitely a 5 star hunting cabin. We loved the history through the pictures on the wall. The fishing at the lake was great as well. George and family were awesome, kind and great hosts with that southern hospitality everyone hears about. We will definitely be back!!!

Great place to get away from it all!

If you are looking for somewhere close to attractions, keep looking... However, if you are looking for a cozy cabin away from the hustle, this is it! The cabin is clean, well maintained, and George made sure we had everything we needed for the weekend. The family and I are planning a spring trip to Callaway Gardens and will definitely stay here again if it is available.

I love to fish, hunt, hike and camp. I am a 5th generation owner of this family land. We raise some cows and timber on the "farm" but it is a dedicated family only hunting property.

Why they chose this property

If peace and quite are what you are looking for... I got it. If you are expecting a Ritz Carlton, cosmopolitan room with a Maitre d'... keep looking. This is my family's' hunting cabin complete with hunting pictures and mounts, cast iron cookware and well water. Southern family history from The War Between the States and a wood burning stove. If you are afraid of nature and/or Her critters.... keep looking.

What makes this property unique

Stillness. Rain on a real tin roof. Simple but modern appliances. Quite. Peaceful.
